Packs/Worlds showing as deactivated in-game/Not active after purchase

You can reenable them under Marketplace > My Collection > Pack Selection.

However, tanquilsio​ on the off chance you have two copies of Sims 4 installed now, and the packs aren't even showing as installed within the game, please see this guide to missing DLC:

Omg i thought i was the only one! because i tried reinstalling etc for five hours now i even deleted my ccs and redid everything but still nothing! it started this because of the update sure mods and ccs work just not packs.🤬

I bought the newest expansion, Royalty & Legacy about a week ago, but never started the game until yesterday - after the March 17 patch and the following hotfix. Now when I start the game, it seems as if the new expansion never gets fully loaded/available. I can't remember having seen the "major" pop-up welcoming me to the new expansion, but I always get the flashes at start regarding new features in it. When switching worlds, the new world is greyed out, as in "bought but not installed" - it says so when I hover over it as well (see attachment 1, in Swedish).

I don't see any "Pack selection" available from Main Menu within game. If I select Market and then "My Collection"(?), I can see the Royalty pack as "Deactivated". "Pack Choices" and "Manage Storage"(?) are shown as "can only be managed from Main Menu" - but I can't see any choice that allows for activation.

In the EA App, the expansion is shown under "My add-ons", as Downloaded (attachment 2).

I have tried: 
- Starting the game without mods
- Repairing the entire game, through EA App.
- Uninstalling the expansion and re-downloading it
Nothing of this helps.

Deedle67​  Please post screenshots of where you see EbN listed as purchased but not installed.  And let me know where you bought it.

Hello i have purchased the sims 4 dlc buissnesses and hobbies and downloaded it but none of the features work its as if i didint own the pack when i try to go to the world it says"download world and then restart sims 4" i downloaded it and restarted the game  and if someone says press repair option i dont have the option all my other packs are fine and i have no mods installed  and i deleted the thumbpackage  

Rifensia​  Do the packs show up under Marketplace > My Collection?  If so, you can enable them there.

I had the same problem. I solved mine by open Market Place > My Collection. You will find the new downloaded packs marked with deactivated. All you have to do is activate them in Pack Selection, then restart the game. Hope this helps! 

I purchesed Sims 4 Bundle this morning and It won't show up in the game. All the things are downloaded and saved in the right place on my laptop and I tried everything to make it work but it still won't show. Super frustrating!

I have purchased the business and hobbies ep, and nordhaven is showing up as "world not installed. when this pack has finished downloading restart the sims 4 to install it." i do not have any items from the ep in build or cas and under filters it shows up as "you do not have this content." - i have restarted the game multiple times (i launch through the ea app), i have uninstalled the ep and installed it again, i have tried clearing cache, however it is still not showing up.

since you can't connect, you can edit the userSettings.ini file to make sure the pack is enabled.

1. Open the file in a text editor (Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims > UserSetting.(ini)
2. Find this line: packstoskipmount =
3. Edit the line so that there's no number after the = just a space
4. Save the file
5. Start the game.
