I have 7 generations of pictures of multiple families, please someone tell me they're not lost forever, I've tried everything I could but since I'm playing on console I'm limited. (And I don't want to use cheats since they disable the trophy system). I see that both the pictures and the paintings that disappeared (everything outside the inventory) retain both their quality/emotional effect, so there should be somewhere in the game something stored T°T
When I try to put the paintings/pictures hanging around the house in the household inventory the whole game crashes, tried 3 times. Not sure what's up but I hope it gets fixed soon.
I play on play station.
Update: also autographs are affected by this bug. There was a picture on an old sim of mine on it and now that's also blank. So unless its in the inventory(sim or household) it disappears. Quality doesn't matter, anything from reference or picture that doesn't involve a stable content (like a regular painting) is blank.
Do you have any recent backup saves. I’m on Xbox as well. I have a back up saved from a short time ago. I’m not going to touch it in case accessing might corrupt those files as well. But maybe in the long run after they get this problem solved, those of us on console can save a house, room, etc., from old saves and then move them into our current game. But I’m not holding my breath. When they broke the underwear issue it was like a year before they fixed it.
