I started a new game and sure enough after several saves, photos turned black. I did import lots from the gallery from saves before the problems started in late September. Also paintings turned white. Don't know why this is happening and it is very frustrating to play a new game for a while to see if the problem reasserts itself. Even when I play with old saves, the problem occurs.
