Ideas
The fix for this needs to get released as a hotfix ASAP. Holding onto it until February is insane. Unless legacy players want to lose all their photos they have to not play their game for a month. Not everyone is savvy enough to search up the workaround posted in this thread, and I presume many are going to save their game without having time to see that their photos turned black or that they shouldn’t save.

That’s the additional aggravation to this whole situation. They issue no guidelines as to what a player should or shouldn’t do while we wait. If there’s a way for us to not make things worse, they should be communicating that.

YES! The suggestion to save our photo rooms to Gallery would have helped BEFORE.
EA has no problem pushing sales notices on our load screens.
How about a PSA to help their loyal customers, uh, players?? "We are working on an issue with photos. In the meantime, you might want to XYZ..." .- Silvananv1 month agoNew Adventurer
I have the same issue (photos turn black) after the last patch. I tried to put all my photos on rooms to galery, but It did´t help to fix the problem. I believe this problem started with the Direct X 11 last update.
