Finally hit me too 😭 Played after the update for maybe ~12 hours total over the span of 3 days and everything looked fine, so I assumed I had dodged a bullet and let my guard down (lol). Then yesterday evening I saved and quit, then re-loaded the game an hour later and everything was black, including photos from households that I haven't played with for months.
Looks like I'm done with the Sims 4 until they fix this. I can't believe they're releasing a new pack in a month yet this foundational part of the game is totally broken and ruining peoples' legacy saves.
