Same here. My game was somehow OK (without the not aging up after blowing candles on cake bug). I had no problem with photos disappearing. I checked all my mod if anything needs update, updated my game. Went to save but build in different world. Saved. Got back to my family and found all photos black. So my sims lost photos mostly of their dad, that died before they were born and my sim who is living without any partner after this tragical event lost her photos of her husband. Not as bad as some players lost generations of photos of their families but it still sucks. Please repair it.
