One thing - I think - they failed to take into account with the last patch is that: Many Simmers play with multiple households. It takes me a long time to rotate through all my households. It's sounds like photos from those households may have been treated as not in use.
This galls me because: 1) I don't actually have a lot of photos in my game and 2) Up until the last patch I had no problems with photos going blank/black. Now I do. So! You fixed a problem I didn't have by giving me a new one.
Yep their QA process and people really dropped the ball with this attempt to fix the outstanding problem by letting it get worse. I also flip between multiple households so I noticed this pretty quickly after the last patch. There are ways to restore the photos if you have PC and use Sims4Studio but hold off doing it until after they try to fix this, again, because they'll just go blank again on any lots you aren't actively playing or have copies of each photo in a Sims' inventory.
