I am also having this issue. For me it starts in Willow Creek with the park. When I reported the lot that was most likely the cause of the corruption, EA ignores it and keeps it in the gallery. I have lost 2 saves to the error 800 bug. Getting rid of the rental lots helped and I also had to delete NPC sim families that were in the game originally. I still haven't found a fix for this bug. It happens with and without mods. Sometimes it is a lot from the gallery and most recently it has been the For Rent expansion. I wish EA would fix it and stop blaming players for Error 800. And also maybe take down the lots in the gallery so it stops spreading to people's games. It feels like the creepy doll virus from TS3 all over again, except it is not a mod, it's the gallery.
