This helps but time consuming:
When your lots start to get corrupted, load into an older save or try to savage what you can by saving every lot and sims into your own gallery. San Myshuno is tough because you have to save every room in your apartments. Save your sims too. What this does is it will reset your lot and sims. So any extra inventory will be deleted. Relationships will be deleted. It will detect mods and delete mods that are not compatible and label the lot as modded. What all this does is free up memory. You will then start a new game and start to transfer everything you saved into your new game. I did this and it cut my memory saved over half and was able to continue playing the game. I also have about 10 rental residential. Most of the lots I built was before the updates. Putting then back into the new game, made the lots compatible with the updates. I haven't had save corruption ever since.
