[PLEASE READ] Save Game Corruption

So in reading this thread, it basically is telling me that EA built the game to NOT support my playstyle as a legacy player. I play one single save that has over 30 generations. I always have deleted random generated townies, because I only ever want the sims that I made to spawn. I only play on a few lots that I built. The homes are the sizes they are because of the multiple generations played. The photos taken are for immersion purposes, giving the impression of connection of the current sims to MULTIPLE past generations of sims and with 30-some generations that is a large number of keepsake photos. I have a gaming PC, there is not space issue for the file size on my computer unless EA programmed it and that means they never intended the game to be played by someone like myself. I do not play more than one save or open a new save unless I actually want to start a new game. I have a save that dates back to 2016, and I expect to be able to play it as normal.
