Can’t save my game. When I switch to needs etc game sends me to load screen. Cursor disappears so I can’t even scroll or play when the save option works which is like 10% of the time. Spent sooo much money on this game and being unable to play is disappointing. Please fix soon!!!!

Thought it was just me and my controller lol. I play on Xbox s but it's been happening to me too the last like 3 or 4 days.
Idk what's up. After the latest update (have set to auto-update) stuff has been wackadoodles. I'm getting kicked out of the game (loosing progress 😫), in the middle of something and all of a sudden I cant control anything... like the cursor disappears and I have to shut my controller off for a min and turn it back on so I can move it. Rn, right this min, im frozen in Create-a-sim bc i cant move my cursor. I just wanted to reset everyday outfits to Summer! Jeesh. Sims are also getting frozen a LOT more frequently. Anybody else having issues like this?
This is happening to me on Xbox series c since the last update, I can only fix it by using a mouse and keyboard. It happens in build mode, live mode and cas. It’s really frustrating and making the game unplayable.
When I am in regular gameplay (not CAS or build mode) my cursor disappears and instead it swaps to the hover function? Normally to change this I would press the large button on my PS5 controller, but this does not resolve the issue. It makes my game unplayable, though I can still access the menu to save and exit.
I have the sims 4 on an Xbox and it just randomly gets rid of the cursor and title never comes back then if I open the menu I can't close it out after
When I try to use the cheats, specifically Cas.fulleditmode it wont allow me to toggle between my sims. Also, sometimes it doesnt matter if I'm using the cheat or not. The cursor disappears and when I click the home pad of my ps4 controller it doesnt reappear like it should. Then when I exit the create a sim, the cursor is still gone, so i try to save the game. when i try to save the game it wont save. Normally when you click save it pauses the game, but when the cursor is acting up it doesnt pause the game. So i have to close ot of the game completely and reopen it which is annoying because it take FOREVER to boot back up. This has been something new that has been happening. In result of this, I've stopped playing as much as I used to and I don't even purchase anymore expansion packs because it seems to make the game worse. This needs to be fixed. I have never had any issues with this game before until about a month ago when that update happened. And I've had this same game since it was released in 2017
Thank you for mentioning the mouse and keyboard. I was about to lose all the work I did on my fairy for the second time because my cursor was gone and my options menu won't open. Plugging in my mouse let me start a game with her so she was saved to my library. It wouldn't let me do anything else but it saved my fairy.... and my sanity 😆
Same is happening to me now. I can't actually play the game because of the graphics adjustment on console. I refuse to play a blurry game. The last few times I tried building, my game crashed. So now I'm down to just cas, trying to make fairies and I can't do that either
THIS IS STILL A PROBLEM A YEAR LATER IN CAS. Please fix this.
I play on PS5. Since the update, the cursor disappears a few minutes after entering CAS and will not reappear. I have tried troubleshooting, such as making the cursor bigger and applying changes, logging out and back in, etc and the bug persists. I tried to go to Main Menu once when the cursor disappeared and the screen just went white to where I had to close the game. Also my game crashes about once an hour. It is unplayable. Please fix this.
