[PS/XB] Cursor is missing

My cursor has disappeared. I have tried the first person in and out trick and still not back. Restarted the game multiple times, switched households, switched to different saved files. It’s gone. I’m playing on Xbox One

Also this after the new update never had this problem I’m on ps5 I’ve uninstalled the game , restarted my ps5 and everything 

This game is unplayable the cursor is completely gone it worked for like 30 mins to a hour I fell asleep and then the cursor was gone

I am experiencing a persistent bug in The Sims 4 on PlayStation 4 where the cursor/pointer is completely invisible. This issue occurs in both Live Mode and CAS, and even when creating a new family or household.

I have already tried the following troubleshooting steps without success:

• Pressing L3 + R3
• Entering Build Mode and returning to Live Mode
• Rebuilding the database in PS4 Safe Mode
• Reinstalling the game
• Starting a new family and world
• Checking for PS4 and game updates

Despite these attempts, the pointer remains invisible, making the game unplayable.

Please advise if there is a known fix, patch, or further steps I can take to resolve this issue.

I’ve currently been having trouble with my cursor not showing up when I am playing the game. This happened the day before the new update and is impacting my game play. I am very disappointed because I was looking forward to playing the my new legacy challenge, please fix this.

everytime i enter cas cheat i cant edit my sims or change my horses age once i change it the cursor goes away. Then once im back in live mode i cant save and it’s always after i enter the cheat. I play on Xbox

simsplayer818​ thank you so much for your help I have now moved my sims over to a new game and I'm going to delete my other games, I will defo keep an eye on items I save and keep it all low thank you for the advice😊

xAutumnAngelx​ the Reserved Space is the one to ignore. That's a very large file for your locally saved data and may be part of the problem. When clearing it from the console and synching up with the cloud again you may find it's smaller afterwards which is better. But you might just be reassured carrying out any steps with Xbox support on a live chat with you. 

I don't know how many save games you're running but I personally never run more than 3 on Xbox Series X. I also regularly clear Other Households as too many can cause issues. I'm getting up to 20 new ones each day at the moment especially after using public lots so I'm deleting them as I have enough. I keep my library mostly empty too as that helps (a Sims player on Xbox support told me that years ago), I clear all household and personal inventories of previously played households and Sims too. All these things can get the size of the game down and help with performance issues. I never store photos in inventories either as that's caused problems for me too.

Hopefully having Xbox support on a chat with you can reassure you while carrying out any steps with your locally saved data and with regards to your possible game corruption. Hope this helps, good luck.
