hello I'm having this issue too, just brought the seasons pack and it has genuinely ruined the gameplay, it is so annoying I regret buying it and I was really looking forward to this too - please sort this out!!!
In the meantime, there is a setting in the game options menu to turn weather effects off, if you'd rather not have them until its fixed
