since I'm not seeing a lot of solution talk- I want to add to this thread that maybe it'll help to repair the game, like in the ea app go to manage and look for a repair option. This is rn working for me, even if idk if it'll keep working forever. For now I've had my sims be unnaffected by weather once inside.
Only had an infant be cold bc of not wearing winter clothes
