[S] Weather Effects Occurring Inside Structures

I’m still experiencing this issue, and no word from EA if and when they will be fixing it, I haven’t even seen them formally address this issue, it’s literally ruining the game for me! When will this be fixed!?!?!

This has started happening for me as well - which annoys the living daylight out of me. I also had to disable weather affects on sims - because apparently, sims just randomly go out swimming or falling asleep on a pool floatie in the middle of the winter -.-

But honestly, this raining/snowing inside the house bug is ridiculous. When i first saw so many people had this issue, i felt truly sorry for them - because i've been lucky and haven't had it happening to me at all, but now it has - and yes, i know i can turn off weather - but then the point of the Seasons EP is completely gone. I like to have the realism of weather, and as many before me have written: we've payed for this DLC and shouldn't have to disable it as a work-around. It is totally unacceptable. 😒

EA_Cathor EA_Cade please give us an update on when there will be a possible fix on this issue and please fix again the laundry day stuff pack everytime i chose to have sims move to a bigger house and add washer dryer laundry hamper i have to delete my cache files everytime

FriendlySimmers   While I and many others truly do empathize with you and share your feelings about this issue, that number is growing at a rapid pace!  Getting their attention, asking them isn't going to make things move any faster. 

I have a suspicion that this bug is actually from base game changes and effecting all packs, thus making is 100 times harder to actually find the coding with the problem and then fixing it.... thats a whole other time consuming project.   You would have to truly understand the complexities of programming to understand that this one issue, is not going to be as easy to fix as we all would like it to be.  There are so many factors that influence this. 

 Having patience would be so much easier if we had the communication from EA.  So, I take deep breaths cause the this game and solitaire are the only games I play!!!!  And my game is so broken in many ways, I honestly was in tears 2 nights ago when in "Live Mode",  my gal was visiting a friend and we (me and my sim) watched in horror as the reaper came and took their cow, and all 4 of their chickens and 2 of them were young adults and I always play with aging off for everyone!  I went to report it and saw the issue was just solved with an update???   😵 

I am finding myself getting angrier and angrier everytime I play my game now.  A cycle I do not like and the only way I know to fix it is to quite playing altogether.  

On this thread  I did ask the following on Feb 20:   Directly to someone :::::  If I may be so bold to ask, tho this may not be the place to do so either,  I don't want to start a new thread.  What, if anything, can we as players do to get some of these major issues fixed??  Like this issue. 

What do you need from us .. that may actually influence this issue to get fixed?????

it was helpful and lots of it was new since the 1st time I read it all when I started on this forum.  

EDIT:::::   And before someone is kind enought to suggest that I remove CC or MOD - 1 have 1 game. 5 saves at most I think and never CC or MOD tho I am on a PC.

I don't think it is that. It's not weather that's the actual issue, its designation of inside vs outside that's broken. The weather indoors is more a symptom of the issue. 
Probably more to do with the new pack that had to be fitted in and where they made the change that allows for /home/business/employees only / on the same lot.  The changed how home lots work essentially.  Now everything is seen as 'outside' in the game, making it easier for other sims to visit your lot as if it's a retail lot ( normally outside/not on home lot). Because sims inside can now also do the 'watch stars' interaction. It's therefore not an issue with seasons, but there not being an 'inside' in the game anymore. On home lots and community lots.  They broke the game for the new pack. And changing it so it works at intended might break the new pack in return. Which might be why they are ignoring the issue. Fixing it will break other things, and while trying to sell people the newest pack that's not a good idea for them. 
Might also have broken the 'Stay Over'  function, now sims that are visiting can't sleep as you can't assign them a bed. Also has to do with 'home lot' functionality. 

Mods and cc are absolutely not the reason for this bug. Platform players are having this issue as well as vanilla players. They always want to blame mods/cc

I wish I could agree but this issue started after Life and Death during on of the many patches that happened at the time. Life and Death released on 31st of October. and I have had this issue since one of the patches shortly after. As Business and Hobbies only just released I can strongly say with certainty that Home Businesses is not the cause of this bug. It just seems that unlike myself many players either didn't notice or didn't start getting this bug until this latest pack. 

DarkSimzzz    Some of the issues you stated happen in my game but weather inside my residential lots has been happening for 3 months now and B & H was not out.    I know for a fact I am not the only one who's been watching this weather issue ?spread? get worse?  affect different aspects of not only the older packs but perhaps changes were made to accomendate the new B & H pack? which has nothing to do with anything concerning the weather? or does it?   I do not have Business and Hobbies and now, I refuse to spend another dime until my game is fixed enough to be "relaxing and fun" to play!  

After investing the last 20 years into Maxis, Electronic Arts with Sims games, I don't believe that I am asking too much when I ask -  Would you please fix my game!!!   I supported you, now please, support me!  If I mean nothing to you then I will humbly walk away!   Ball is in their court and in the meantime , you could say, financially, I am on strike! 

dmorr43  That is precisely why I do not use them! 

In my opinion CC and MOD are vaulable assets to companies to first (1st) blame something else, not be accountable, CC & MOD = scapegoat.   

My understanding is this and please if anyone reads this and has more accurate knowledge and understanding - if I am wrong about this - CC not so bad as long as it is decor only.  But today, more and more hackers are having a blast using CC as a way to get people's information to use in bad ways.   

MOD per my understanding - actually changes how the game is played???   Making it do less or more, and this blows my mind, fixes what's broken that the developers can't fix themselves???  I've had such MOD's offered to me. 

I think that PC/Mac are the only one's that can use CC or MOD's?  PS4 and PS5 I know for fact they do not!   Any other platform, I am clueless about.
