I’m having a similar issue.
When I try to save a lot or an individual room to the gallery it looks like it’s worked - I don’t get any error message or anything and the game doesn’t crash. However nothing is actually saving to my library. This is so frustrating as I have a separate save file for building (I don’t do it in the save I actually play in). I spent ages creating a build for the next generation of my legacy family, only to find I can’t use it because I’m unable to save it! So I have to start over.
I'm on Xbox Series X so no mods or custom content.
