I tried uploading the image from my phone, but I can't get my laptop to do ...

After the update on August 19th 2025 I am no longer able to upload my builds to the gallery or my library.
I can create and upload sims households just fine.
I have reset the EA app and have repaired the sims 4 game through the EA app and cleared the cache for the sims 4.
I have NO CC or mods.
I have never had this issue before and don't know what else to do..
after posting this, I was able to save one 20x15 lot with a 2x2 room and one base game love seat in Newcrest. I then attempted to go back to the enchanted by nature world and save the existing house in the tree (Crannamor residential) and still get the same error:
"Server error. We could not process this gallery request. Please try again later."
I have been frantically troubleshooting my game for 5 days when I remembered the game switched to DX11 after the update.
When I went back to DX9 I could save builds to my library just fine again, and just as fast as before the update.

Thank you! I’ve been going crazy trying to figure out why. My builds wouldn’t upload.
So I was having the same issue. Sometimes I would get the server error and sometimes it would just say something went wrong. Sometimes it would upload to my gallery but it wouldn't let me upload it for others. ANYWAY, I reset to direct 9 (not sure if that helped) and then switched to a Newcrest lot instead of the one in Gibbi Point, and voila, it worked immediately. No mods/CC in game
