This bug just started happening to me in the month of October, 2025. I already had mods disabled before this bug appeared. It's making me very sad because I love making builds for fall and Halloween for the gallery 😭This bug started for me shortly after installing the Businesses and Hobbies expansion after I purchased it for my birthday the week after October 8th, 2025.
I cannot upload anything to the gallery without getting the same error reported by OP. I also cannot comment on my profile or any other profile and without getting an error but that error claims to be a server error.
Fixes that don't work
- I repaired my game
- I deleted the localthumbnailcache.package file in the sims 4 folder and then repaired my game
- I switched to direct x9, restarted the game, and then repaired my game
- I have reset my computer multiple times
None of these fixes are working for me as I am still unable to upload anything to the gallery. Could businesses and hobbies somehow be responsible?
