Server Error uploading to gallery/library

I have the same error. I don’t use mods or cc and cannot upload to gallery or my tray. I’ve tried all kinds of lots and lot sizes and the error appears on every lot. Right now I cannot upload any lot what is very upsetting

I was able to miraculously save a 30x20 lot just now. By placing an already saved lot from my library, I started to save each room individually to my library and then copied the saved rooms directly over where they are on the build again. I did, however, get rid of all the beams the home had at the ceiling. I don’t know if that made a difference, though.

I’ll be testing it out again tomorrow to see if what I did works again. Maybe I just got lucky.

I'm a console player and have had this problem for nearly a month. Today I saved my lot by not confirming the "ok". Wait until the background to returned to the build screen. Once that happens check your library. Until this issue is resolved, I hope this (work around) helps someone Happy Simming. 🤞

I'm having the same problem on a Samsung laptop.  I can't save lots to my gallery due to a server error.  This just started on March 21; at first, I got the error, but the lots still saved. Now, I get the error and the lots won't save,  I'm trying to save existing lots that I've modified.  The plumbobs spin and spin, then, the error appears. I use mods and cc. I've updated or removed all of the broken mods and cc that were reported since the EA updates or that caused LEs in the last week.  My DirectX version is DX 12.  Thank you!

Edited to add: Suddenly, about 15 minutes after I tried to save it, multiple saves for the lot I used in the sample below have appeared in my gallery.  I tried saving another lot, too.  Maybe that will show up later.

At this point I can save lots but the error still pops up you just have to wait for it to finish in the background before you select “Ok” since when you select “Ok” when it pops up it prematurely stops the lot from saving… 

So it’s 50% fixed for me, but also this is a super ridiculous issue to still have to deal with and it adds more stress and work to the process of saving lots because you have to go verify in your library/ gallery that it has in fact saved each and every time. 

Every time I try to upload personal builds to the gallery or save my personal builds to my library, it gives me an error message. 

I have the same issue. Saving your builds to your own library shouldn't even be a problem. My game duplicated my save game onto another saved game erasing everything I use for my YouTube. And rather than being able to re-download my saved lots I had to re-build houses and cheat my sims skills back. I've been doing that all weekend rather than just streaming and playing. Not being able to save your builds is crazy.

So they made a patch for businesses and hobbies in the last update but didn't fix the gallery/library bug, as well as other annoying issues in game like raining inside the buildings. I accidentally deleted the game on my ps4 last night, so I had to download it again and install it along with all the packs, I was hoping this would solve the gallery issue for me but it's the same, yes it saves to the library even if I get the error message but it's still annoying and time consuming, not to mention that many players don't even have the possibility to save anything at all, players shouldn't have to be dealing with this! We pay for this game, we are consumers and we should get a good product or they should place a disclaimer to warn people of its inconvenient bugs and lack of solutions before they even think of start playing this game. 

I’m having the same issue! I tried to save a 20x20 lot and it will not let me. I spent HOURS on this lot, and it’s SO frustrating that I can’t save it! I’m on PlayStation, own all the expansions, all game packs except Star Wars, and most stuff packs except like 3 & a few kits. So, no mods/cc. It’s so aggravating and needs to be fixed as soon as possible!!😠

ETA: I tried waiting until it went back to the build screen, it still isn’t saving. Nothing is working for me. 

ETA: I’ve read through this thread & tried every possible solution (that’s possible on console) and none of them have worked. I am still unable to save lots & rooms as well. 

I can’t save any lots to my personal gallery, and I can’t upload the gallery either. I have spent HOURS building a house that was going to be moved to a different world, but I can’t save it! This is ruining a HUGE part of the game! I’m on PlayStation, so no mods or cc. I have all expansion packs, all game packs except for star wars & almost all stuff packs except maybe 2-3. I know I’m not the only person having this issue. It’s ridiculous & needs to be fixed asap! The other thread for this was marked as “solved” - it’s not! The issue is still here! I’ve tried the workaround mentioned by other players but unfortunately it didn’t work for me. EA, this needs to be fixed!!! I will NOT be buying anymore packs or kits until this is resolved!
