When sims are supposed to be nude or have more revealing clothing the salmon colored (hideous btw) underwear from CAS body edit mode is showing.

Yeah looks like the fix only works for new sims.
But!
I played around a bit. if you have MCCC installed, then "Swap Gender Complete" command in Sim Commands -> Maintain Sim does the trick! Do this twice.
It messes up the outfits, but only the first one in each category. To keep the outfits, make a copy of each in CAS, before swapping gender. (For those who, LIKE ME, didn't know about the multiple outfits feature in CAS, click on the small arrow above the outfit category icon, Everyday/Formal/Etc.)
For now, works for me. Will see if the issue returns under some circumstances.
I don't use mods in Sims 4, other than one that removes the mosaic. But now may be the time.
someone also made a default replacement for the underwears that make them invisible. it takes up less space than the mod to remove the blur.
