It's been an issue for 6+ months. I figured it was a glitch after a patch update and it would buff out, but I think something is actually broken, lol.
*Sims won't complete the action of "clean up" when it comes to dirty dishes left on a table/counter etc. They just pick them up and put them back down, then complain about said dirty dish🙃. I constantly have to drag it to the sink or garbage myself. It happens with "clean out spoiled food" too (even a sim with the Neat trait).. they'll take it out of the fridge and put it on a table. But never to the garbage.
*When I try to uproot/harvest a plant I don't have so I can plant it on my lot, it just turns to a trash pile?! Why? My gardening level is 10... That didn't use to happen before?
I'm not sure what update/pack release it was when it started, l just figured it was a glitch. But it hasn't been fixed and I've troubleshot in every way.. (i.e, debug sim, replacing/moving trashcans to other places in the house, restarting my computer, repairing the game in EA app). If this could be fixed or if there's a solution I haven't tried, I'd love to know.
[[ I don't have mods or cc. As far as owned packs and expansions, there's a lot, but I don't have them all. I don't have for rent, which I know tends to corrupt files. And I play on PC]] thank you!
