It was my teen sims birthday so I pulled out a cake from the fridge that had candles already on them. I had them blow out the candles and when they did they did age up to a young adult but didn't get a pop up saying they aged up and didn't get a option to choose their last trait or pick their aspiration. I've tried exiting the game to clear the local thumb cache file and repaired my game. I do not use mods. I play on a gaming laptop.
