I have removed my mods but even then, I'll go to manage worlds and click on a household that isn't my last played household to play in. An error message will show up and tell me to reload the game. I do it 20 odd times and nothing happens. I waited for the new update, thinking it would fix the bug. It did not. I tried to access the household by switching in live mode but an error came up again, so my sim couldn't even visit that household's home lot and then suddenly, I was not playing in my last played household anymore. Whenever I tried to build, nothing would load, so I was stuck on the loading screen for an hour once. Only Create-A-Sim is working correctly. Otherwise, the game is pretty much unplayable. To make matters worse, every time I try to close the game, Steam says "stopping" but the game never actually closes. I have to turn off my laptop completely to force the game to close.

Update on this: I attempted to play as Vlad instead and other than the lot just oddly disappearing, everything seemed fine there. I moved a test sim onto the lot I had my last vampire household in. A human sim. The error message still came up. I'm wondering if it might be the case that the lot has corrupted my household by extension.

Apologies for the late reply. My laptop broke :'). I have many saves, so I'm not sure what this one would be labelled as in my folder but I can try. I'm wondering if it's the lot that's corrupted or if it's the vampires pack, since moving my household to a new lot and then even a new save was unsuccessful and the same issues popped up. I will have to see if all's working for my other vampire sims.

That message can mostly be ignored. Just means you're using a video card the game doesn't know about (usually a newer one). Shouldn't be connected to the 801.
It does sound like that lot is corrupt.
Would you be willing to share your save with me ?
If so, upload it somewhere like dropbox, googledrive or OneDrive and PM me the link.

I wasn't able to enter into other households before but I managed to enter into one just now somehow. Yes, I was attempting to play in Forgotten Hollow. It seems I still can't get into that household, even if I try moving them to another world.
I tried the clean folder approach but I didn't have the option to patch any files, so maybe that's why it didn't work. I made sure to remove the entire mods folder for it. The error that came up for it was "unrecognised video card".

That LE is modded
Please try the clean folder approach described here: 📓[GUIDE] Clean User Folder Approach | EA Forums - 12690428
Just put back a copy your save and try again. Then post the unmodded LE.
Error 801 already has a thread though but it might be a bit of a generic issue when a lot can't be loaded and it's def worth trying a clean folder.
Do you have the issue with all lots in the save or just that particular one ? Are you playing in Forgotten Hollow ?

I wasn't sure how to link up the documents themselves but I did copy and paste all the info from them. The error code is 801,
