Vacation rental bug

Anytime I change a vacation rental lot into a residential lot it will always change back to a vacation rental after owning it. I can play with my sims right after moving them in but I can’t buy anything because build mode still sees the lot as a vacation rental (after already changing it). Once I leave the household to go into another one I can’t access the household anymore. They don’t get deleted but I play with them anymore. When you are looking at the world’s lots after going into manage worlds again it’ll show the lot as a vacation rental even though my sims technically still own it. I’ve tried resetting the lots multiple times and just moving them back in, but it keeps happening.
