April 28th update promised a fix to the gallery freezing up issue. This has not been completely fixed. I clicked on 10 items in the gallery normally and then it froze up when I checked again and lost my progress. The curser also moves all over the place. This is unacceptable.

It has been a nightmare. Anytime i click on a build or a tattoo the game freezes and I lose all my progress. I'm sorry you are dealing with this too
So far after the May 12th update, the gallery lock/freezing issue has not been resolved on Xbox Series X. I have tried deleting saves, remaking them, and reinstalling my packs. Nothing seems to be working, so can you please fix this ongoing issue.

I was hoping this “big” update would fix the issues im having but sadly it did nothing to fix my game. Every time i open something from the gallery my own builds included it freezes! The cursor moves the music plays but you can’t click anything or exit out you STILL have to force close the game! And even though the million pop ups from packs i bought does not show up STILL EVERYTHING IN BUILD MODE AND CAS IS MARKED NEW! I have to click through everything! This is the worst bug ever and nothing has been done to fix it.
Very disappointed with this " overhaul update" thought this issue would be solved by now due to the community not being able to play the game we spent multiple hundreds on. Cant open any of MY personal saved items on the gallery without it being stuck loading and soft locked. We all have been waiting since the April update just to be fooled into believing the May update might fix it.

I am having this problem too on Xbox Series S, it’s incredibly frustrating!!
I don't know if this is an Xbox thing, a console thing, or an issue going on widely on all devices that run The Sims 4. When I open the gallery, everything is fine. I can search easily, use tags to find a certain selection, and filter as I choose.
The problem arises when I open an upload, whether it be a household, a tattoo, a room, or a lot. It seems as though the screen will freeze. You can move your cursor around the screen, but when you click on anything, it will not carry out the task. I can save my own Sims to the gallery, but if I try to download them using the gallery, I'd be stuck in that same screen because the interactions do not want to carry out.
The same is for the personal library as well.
Does anyone else have this issue, whether on Console or PC? If so has anyone found a way to combat it or has the recent bug fixes solved this issue? I haven't had the chance to play in my game before the update.
