FC26 crashes on startup with C0000005 Access Violation on multiple PCs
I’m having a persistent crash issue with EA SPORTS FC 26 and I’ve exhausted almost every troubleshooting step I can think of. The game crashes on startup every single time with: Exception: C0000005 – Access Violation What makes this especially strange is: - FC 25 works perfectly. - FC 26 crashes on multiple different PCs. - I fully reinstalled Windows from scratch. - I tested both Windows 11 and Windows 10. - I updated BIOS. - I disabled XMP and virtualization features. - I reinstalled GPU drivers using clean installs. - I reinstalled EA App and EA AntiCheat. - I deleted all FC26 folders from Documents/AppData. - I tested offline mode. - I tested with overlays disabled. - I tested on another friend’s PC and it still crashes on my account. - The crash usually happens after 10–40 seconds during startup. I’m using EA Play Pro. The crashdump always reports: “Access violation - code c0000005” I also noticed references related to Denuvo/entitlement requests before crashing. At this point it looks more like an account/licensing/profile issue specific to FC26 rather than a hardware problem. Minhas configurações atendem aos requisitos pedidos para rodar Fc 26. vou montar uma simples lista das coisas que eu ja fiz para tentar corrigir. * Instalar Drivers da placa de video do zero. *Reparar o Fc 26 dentro do Anticheat. *Limpar cache. *Reinstalação do Ea app. *Reisntalação do Anticheat pelo proprio site da Ea. *Reistalação do Fc 26 pela Steam. *Instalar o DirectX 12 *Instalar Microsoft Redestributivel X64 e X 86 *instalar o Net Framework

Cronus or whatever cheat software there is. I decided to try the season 3 after quitting for a bit. I ran across a level 950+ player with absolutely zero recoil using an LMG. For my part, I've got about 600 hrs in game and rank ~250. That's about 2.4 levels per hour of play, and I'm a fairly good, but not stellar player. To get over 900 rank that's 2300 hours of play at my skill level. 95 days of continuous play. Even if you say they are a stellar player and twice as good as me, which is going to be top 3 every single round, that's still ~47 days of non-stop play. EA's anti-cheat is absolutely worthless. Worthless. I spent today getting absolutely wasted by zero recoil players using mostly SMG and occasionally the odd other class weapon. Surprisingly, they were mostly PC this time, though the 950 player had the controller icon.
FC 26 black screen on launch, account-side issue, looking for help
Hi everyone, I'm posting here hoping someone in the community has dealt with this and found a solution, because I've been stuck for over 18 days and I've run out of things to try. The issue: when I launch FC 26 from EA App, Javelin Anticheat loads correctly, the game window opens to a black screen, and after about 10 seconds it closes by itself with no error message. EA App stays open in the background as if nothing happened. The game worked perfectly until late April, and I have over 200 hours of playtime on my account. I've already tried every standard troubleshooting step I could find: Repairing the game through EA App Fully uninstalling and reinstalling FC 26 Manually deleting C:\Program Files\EA\AC and reinstalling EA AntiCheat by launching FC 26 as administrator Reinstalling EA AntiCheat from the standalone installer Updating NVIDIA drivers to the latest version Trying older NVIDIA drivers Disabling NVIDIA App overlay and Discord overlay Closing all background apps Clearing Documents\EA SPORTS FC 26 entirely Disabling cloud saves in EA App settings Signing out and back in to the EA web/companion app Freeing up significant disk space on C: Running the full clean boot procedure with msconfig Creating a brand new Windows user profile and testing from there Installing/reinstalling Visual C++ Redistributables (x86 and x64) Checking environment variables for GAME_DATA_DIR Verifying Secure Boot status and TPM 2.0 Restarting properly multiple times Launching as administrator None of it made any difference. The behavior is identical every time. The interesting part: a friend logged into his EA account on my PC, and FC 26 launched and ran perfectly fine. Same hardware, same Windows, same drivers, same setup, only the account changed and the game worked. So this clearly isn't a hardware or local issue, it's something tied to my specific account. I'd also like to mention that this same exact issue is being reported by other users in another active thread on this forum, with very different hardware setups (one user has a 7800X3D + RTX 4090, mine is a Ryzen 5 4600 + RTX 3050), different countries, different configurations. The only common factor between us is that our specific accounts can't launch the game while other accounts can on the same machines. About that cross-account test: I want to mention that while it has been useful as a diagnostic, it's not really practical as a repeated suggestion for every new user reporting this. FC 26 is tied to whoever purchased it, so testing with another account requires another person who already owns and has installed the game, lives close enough to help, and is comfortable sharing their login. Sharing EA credentials is also against the Terms of Service, which makes it awkward to keep recommending. I performed this test once, it confirmed the account-side nature of the problem, and I think that should be enough. FC26 on new hardware ignores -dx11 → Severe input lag
Hi FC community, I’m running EA SPORTS FC 26 on a high‑end PC (Ryzen 9 7950X + RTX 4070Ti Super, 180Hz monitor). I tried forcing DirectX 11 with the launch parameter -dx11 in the EA app, but the game completely ignores this parameter — it always starts in DirectX 12. It worked before the last patch. With DX11, the game had almost zero input lag, but now with DX12 I experience significant input lag, even though FPS are stable and G‑Sync/driver settings are optimal. Everything else runs fine. Is anyone else on modern hardware seeing the same? Was DX11 intentionally disabled by EA? Can we get an option again to force DX11 — for competitive fairness? PC freezing after 10 minutes of playing since 4/16
Yesterday all was fine and I could play BF6 without any issue. Since today, it doesn't matter what I configure, after about 10min off playing freeze. Only hard reset of the PC let it start again. Here the crash dump attached. Chat GPT said its an issue from the Battlefield update today. ExceptionCode: c0000005 (Access violation) Attempt to write to address 0000000000000024 rax=0000000000000000 inc dword ptr [rax+24h] Anyone else got this issue?Can't interact in-game with marketplace bought kit items
Hi, so I recently purchased three kits: Industrial Loft, Sleek Bathroom, and Modern Luxe. I did so through the marketplace using Moolas. Now when I open the build-mode I can place the items like normal, but I am unable to get my sims to interact with any of the items in-game. I don't have any mods installed and I have a bunch of packs and kits installed but never had such an issue. Would love to find a fix for this. Thanks in advance. I purchased the Jedi Knight Cal Kestis Light Speed Bundle, which gave me Merrin at Relic 7. After the recent nerf to Merrin, she was suddenly reset to Relic 1, erasing all of the relic progress and resources I had invested. This feels unfair because I bought the bundle expecting Merrin to remain at Relic 7, but after the nerf she was downgraded to Relic 1. I kindly request that my Merrin be restored to her original Relic 7 level, or that I be compensated for the relic materials lost due to this reset.
Can't place my gravestone from household inventory
My graves sometimes disappear/go invisible when I take them out of the household inventory or the sim's inventory. Usually, it's the horse graves. Going to manage world fixes it, most of the time, but I would like to not lose my graves. 😶 Edit By crinrict: Adjusted Title to fit old bug report.
