Payment showing twice in paypal and a purchase not made showing order history.
I contacted support as my paypal app was showing two seperate payments for the same purchase. The purchase was for a bundle of packs for the sims 4. One transaction shows the recipeint is EA Swiss Sarl (the usual recepient shown) and the other as Electronic Arts, Inc. both charged at £34.50. The later says its pending in the paypal app awaiting ea to confirm purchase. When I contacted support they stated the only pending putchase I had was for around £180. I had put a bunch in my basket to try an decide which ones i wanted and narrow it down but never checked out with this and the basket matches this pending purchase but the support said it has come through as a purchase on their end awating payment. Now im panicking that not only will i be charged twice for one purchase but then charged a massive amount for stuff siting in my baset i havent even checked out. Also to clarify i have sinced emptied the basket an refreshed everything to make double sure its empty and its still showing as a pending transaction. EA support is telling me to contact paypal but it hasn't even gone through to paypal it only shows on ea purchase history on my account. Paypal tell me to contac ea. just going in circles with no help. :(EA Scammed Me.
I've got the BF1 from Epic Games and today i saw a discount on a shortcut bundle named as ''Ultimate Shortcut Bundle'' The price of 39.99 was crossed out and 10 Euro was written. I bought it. I thought I bought it for 10 Euros, but on the next screen, EA thanked me for my 39.99 purchase. After that, I contacted two different customer representatives for dispute my extra charge. As a result they did not help me in any way. The EA employee told me that this was a special offer for EA or Steam players, but I saw this discount in the game. As a result, I should not be held responsible for EA's pricing mistake. I have probably saved this company thousands of dollars over the years, but they did not help me with the first problem I encountered. I feel scammed.118Views0likes1CommentCharged twice for game then can't submit error report.
I wanted to purchase the Command & Conquer Ultimate edition, but after clicking the pay button, was stuck on a sort of loading screen with a red spinning circle for over half an hour. I decided to try to reload the page and see if the purchase did indeed go through, however the EA app wanted me to purchase again as it was apparently still in my cart. I attempted purchase again, and had the same loading screen for close to half an hour, but eventually got a success message. The EA app then froze and I couldn't press any buttons, so I closed the app and then re-opened. The individual games from the collection were now in my library, however the collection itself was back in my cart awaiting purchase again. I deleted it from my cart, checked my banking app, and I have been charged twice for this collection. I have tried to submit an error report in app twice, but both times it fails. I would like one of the pending purchases cancelled (or refunded if they cannot cancel in time), but I am stuck how I can go about this when their error report will not work.SolvedGiven free stuff by accident?
Today I bought the Modern Luxe Kit for The Sims 4. It was the only item in my cart, and I only paid the amount for one kit, but the app downloaded 3 kits in total (Modern Luxe, Throwback Fits, and Grunge Revival)! Is this a bug or some kind of promotion I am unaware of? I used the LilSimsie code as well, is there a promotion tied to that? Any help appreciated!Solved74Views0likes3CommentsCharged twice for the same game, not eligible for refund?
I got the Sims 2 Legacy Collection, but when I purchased the game the EA app crashed. Upon reopening the app, the game didn’t show as purchased or downloading. Thinking the game wasn’t purchased in the first place, I bought it again. I checked my bank account today and saw I was charged twice. I tried filling out the refund form I was directed to by the EA Help chat box, but it says that I have no games eligible for refund. How do I contact EA about this or go about getting a refund? Thanks!EA App stating I don't own a game.
I'm having an issue where the EA App says I'm trying to play a game that I don't own, despite the fact that I DO own the game and have been playing it for several years without issue, even when the EA App was installed. I tried looking up similar issues with other people but only found more complaints from years ago. There WAS this one discussion , [Old Report] EA app saying I don't own the game but the solution provided here no longer works. Please help.Solved46Views0likes5Comments
