As title, when the lock-on missile of Bradley locks an aircraft with laser pointer(not consisting pointing), the missile can ignore the countermeasures of the aircraft and hit the aircraft(The "missile incoming" information is not updated, and the aircraft is shot down under the prompt "locked" and cannot be interfered with.) This bug appeared in BF2042 in January, 2025 too. This makes no sense as a game mechanic. Similar mechanisms appeared in BF4, but in BF4 aircrafts have ECM to counter laser-guided missiles, and there's no in BF6. From these two points of view, that Bradley's lock-on missiles can ignore the countermeasures of aircrafts is a BUG. You can see the Bradley's perspective on This video from China, starting at the 00:50 of this video, although that heli gave the countermeasure, it still got hit (the distance is about 600m+ so there's impossible for "non-escapable distance" making this hit).5.4KViews16likes27CommentsJets and helis seem terrible once again
The helis are seem obviously heavy, floaty, and extremely vulnerable to everything—stationary AA, AA tanks, Stingers, jets, even RPGs. Their weaponry is just weak, and the flight model just seems off. But as bad as helis are, jets are somehow even worse. Jets in BF6 are straight up atrocious. Sure, they can instakill other jets and maybe shoot down a heli (if you ever find one alive), but that’s literally it. The jet can’t repair itself (which might be a bug), its guns are useless against ground targets, and the laser-guided missiles are a complete joke. The bombs are totally ineffective too. The flight model is a near copy-paste of BF2042 which nobody wanted. People wanted the skill and feel of BF3 or BF4, but instead we’re stuck with another floaty, weightless mess with worthless weaponry and no effect on the battlefield. Every experienced pilot is saying a similar thing: the jets are bad, even the top players are consistently at the bottom of the scoreboard, game. If people like Silk, one of the best pilots of battlefield imo with 200+ kill games in bf4, is scoring literally last place on the scoreboard playing jets, there’s literally no hope for anyone else. I’m obviously basing all this on lots of gameplay footage and I may be making assumptions as it hasn’t launched but it’s not looking good. It’s honestly like DICE wants air combat to be a non-factor. Ever since BF2042, jets are basically just toys to let players jump in, crash in 20 seconds, and go back to running on the ground. This is not healthy for the game, and if BF6 keeps going down this road, the game is doomed to repeat 2042’s failures. We use to be excited to fly the powerhouse in bf3 and 4 felt almost like a kill streak. Hello everyone, So as some of you may know consoles and PC are experiencing hit register issues quite commonly. I've found some resolution to the problem on PC. First of all the problem is mainly caused by future frame rendering and somewhat by CPU time smoothing. If you want to lower the amount of times you get the problem just disable your future frame rendering option in the advanced graphics section, for me it eliminated the problem almost entirely, but with people who have the time smoothing problem you will still get it intermittently, but it is much better when you disable future frame rendering. This might not fix it for some people, but it did make it better for me, hopefully it works for most of you and have a good day.Play PvE or PvP: Solo Start with Bots
This thread is for the person who is tired of matchmaking. For the person who is tired of joining rounds mid-game. For the person who is tired of having their party break at the end of matches and needing to leave games and recreate their party with their friends. For the person who is tired of playing attacker or defender over and over. For the person who is tired of playing maps in a random order. For the person who misses options and game modes that used to be in Battlefield games. For the person who is tired of sweats, or for the person who doesn't mind sweats. Every one of these experiences can be hosted and started with just one person. There is no need to queue up and wait for 4, 12, or 20 players to join. Each experience can be enjoyed with no other humans or as an experience that is full with only humans. Each one will fill with bots, as necessary, and then the bots will be replaced as humans join. You can either search for the experiences using the titles provided, or search for the experience code listed (the easier method). Battlefield Owners: "Casual Conquest..." : Solo-start (of course!) large scale conquest that is a faithful reproduction of the real thing, except with the ability to play against bots and level up your skill. Vehicles respawn quickly to get you back in the action. Bots will be replaced by humans, as humans join, but a minimum of 24 bots total will always be present, to give that casual feel. ZH6YV "Night Conquest..." : Three conquest experiences like the previous, but meant to give the perception of night gameplay. One is dark and blue, to mimic a full moon night as best as possible with the tools available. Another has a green NVG effect applied to make it brighter and make enemies easier to see. The third experience has IRNV (thermal) enabled the entire time. Dark (moonlit) mode: ZMQMZ IRNV/NVG (toggle on) mode: ZMBXX NVG (automatic) fake filter mode: ZNT41 "Winter Conquest..." : Just like Casual Conquest, but all the maps are played in the blowing snow. ZGQ1G "Dust Storm Conquest..." : Just like Casual Conquest, but all the maps are played in a giant eerie dust storm. ZVCK7 "BF4 in BF6" : Casual conquest in Operation Firestorm, but with a twist. It's BF4. The assault class can revive and heal teammates. The recon class has a spawn beacon. The color tone is a bit warmer. Movement speed is slowed down. Projectile speed is slowed down. Headshot damage is increased. And body damage is decreased. ZVEHH "Heat of Battle..." : A bright and saturated version of conquest where a variety of colored flares appear each time someone spawns, kills, dies, or takes damage. This allows you to have the normal fun experience but also see and appreciate the battle playing out around you. It creates a broad heat map of activity; keep moving if you don't want to give away your position. ZTBJ1 "Large Vehicle TDM..." : Classic conquest maps with vehicles and everything, but no objectives. The only objective is to get to the top of the scoreboard, be on the winning team, have a sweet KDR, or have a killer streak. Bots backfill to maintain 26 players per team. ZMSS7 "Cairo Chaos..." : Siege of Cairo with a new twist. One street. One objective. 28 vs 28. A ton of cover has been added, plus a couple buildings for snipers to oversee the battlefield. Use of ladders to increase verticality and sustain the crazy number of players is encouraged. ZPQ25 "Hardcore Team Deathmatch - Small Maps - Bot Fill" : A rotation of small infantry maps with Hardcore settings. Experience the experience that EA forgot how to provide. Tons of fun and action! YKBXU Free to Play: "Little Bird TDM..." : A TDM server where the primary weapon is the Little Bird. The bots move around, fly, and don't just stand in one spot and wait for you to kill them. Players spawn randomly in empty Little Birds up to half the map away, or designated spawn points, in order to keep spawns unpredictable and reduce issues with spawn killing. ZTPWV "REDSEC Casual Conquest...": Casual conquest for people who haven't purchased BF6. Bots will be replaced by humans, as humans join, but a minimum of 24 bots total will always be present, to give that casual feel. ZVSWK "REDSEC Winter Casual Conquest...": Same as above, but in the blowing snow. ZUCXE "REDSEC Night Casual Conquest...": Same as casual conquest, but with a moonlight affect. ZUDCQ "REDSEC NVG Casual Conquest...": Same as casual conquest, but players start with IRNV turned on, are given NVG goggles that they can toggle on, and are all given resupply pouches to refill their NVG goggles. ZUDD5 "Golf Course - King of the Hill - Clubhouse" : One objective at the top of the hill at the club house, with each side spawning on either side of the club house hill. Attackers try to advance up the hill and take control of the clubhouse, while defenders try to pick them off. Spawns are naturally protected by the map layout, with some additional protection provided. A sniper outpost is added in the form of a broken highway nearby. Hardcore: Z6ZFK Standard core: ZAEF4 "REDSEC - Team Deathmatch" : Golf Course, Tech Sector, and Marina map rotation of Team Deathmatch. Golf Course features the same design you see above. Deathmatch AI has a purpose and you will see them on a mission. Infantry-friendly vehicles are provided. Hardcore: Z3Q8X Standard core: Z91ZJ "Golf Course - Custom Bots - Infantry Conquest" : 20 v 20 infantry conquest at golf course with many objectives in close proximity. This is what we used to call "conquest small". This is the chaos some people crave. It is essentially "King of the Hill" described above, except with 4 more objectives. Hardcore: ZC34V Standard: ZC2RY "Friends vs Friends F2P TDM with Team Switching" : 20 vs 20 TDM to play against your friends. Bots can be turned off. Each spawn area has a sign you can interact with in order to switch to the other team, or turn bots on or off. Host it with a password if you don't want randoms to join. ZG383 "Friends vs Friends F2P Infantry Conquest with Team Switching" : 20 vs 20 conquest small at golf course to play against your friends. Bots can be turned off. Each spawn area has a sign you can interact with in order to switch to the other team, or to turn bots on or off. Host it with a password if you don't want randoms to join. ZGGTZ Please, if you are only looking for a PvE experience -- alone or with friends -- host the experiences with a password so that you can play with as many friends as you want, instead of kicking unwanted players who randomly join. Being kicked for randomly joining someone's hosted experience is not a good feeling. Note: "Free to Play" is subject to EA's wishes. Free-to-play experiences are hosted on REDSEC maps which were provided to players for free, but EA could revoke free-to-play access of those maps at any time. Additionally, amount of XP awarded and whether weapon unlocks or challenge progression is awarded is completely at the will of EA. Here are some very short demo videos. My piloting was awful, but the purpose is to see that bot teammates jump in as gunner, are helpful, will heal, revive, and throw down ammo, and the bots keep activity going around the entire map. In all the battlefield games that I have played in the past you can simply host a local bot conquest game with all the vehicles on whatever map you want. I just want to be able to practice with the littlebird against bots on battlefield 6. Its so dumb that even if you wanted to do this through the bf6 experiences all the servers that say they are helicopter practice are just a blank map where you spawn in by yourself. I tried to create a server through the portal myself and they make it impossible to just make a server with vehicles and bots. I feel like it should be really simple to create a bot only conquest server in the portal. If i try to practice the littlebird in multiplayer there are 5 people spamming the spawn button and a couple more camping the physical spawn . Then when I do get in the littlebird once a game i get to fly it for for 2 mins before i get tow missiled by a tank across the map or some bs. I just want to learn the basics of the littlebird more and practice shooting at targets on the ground. Does anyone have a server code that actually works for this? I have noticed that since after BF4, there was no support for flight sticks. They have kept the controller or keyboard for flying only. Since the talks of BF going back to their roots of the older games, I would like to see support of Flight sticks brought back as well. Is there a possibility to bring that back as well?? Nothing like getting into a heated air combat and being able to pull some amazing maneuvers... The MAS-148 (also known as the Javelin in previous titles) is massively inferior to pretty much any launcher in the game. In previous titles, you could deal around 30-40 damage with a missile to armor such as a main battle tank, and when designated multiplies its damage by 1.5x or so while also critically disabling it from moving. Unfortunately, it's nearly useless compared to any other launcher. The MBT LAW deals only 5 less damage compared to a PAINTED MAS-148 shot on armor clocking in at 35. Older titles also had the ability to lock without line of sight, increasing its usage tenfold. Squads were able to band together to take down vehicles that were being oppressive with one laser designator and two or more Javelin users, but now the Javelin is relegated to pretty much being a joke weapon as it deals pathetically low damage for a missile that can be beaten by countermeasures and flies so slow that it is completely incapable of keeping up with air, including helicopters. This also is hindered by the fact that the pathing of the MAS-148, much like other launchers, "predicts" where a target is going which includes aircraft. I have, on more than one occasion, witnessed it flying straight into the ground upon launch. This makes it even less useful. Can the damage of the MAS-148 be buffed to at least 50 on painted armored targets, along with a guidance fix and a big velocity boost given to it so that it can at least keep up with aircraft that have lost their countermeasures? These are almost the exact same problems in 2042 that it has, except its pathing is okay and the damage is considerable there. This would make it stand out as a high-damage launcher tuned for use with laser designation and encourage the use of specific anti-armor squads to take down vehicles. If you wanted to take it a step further, it could be the only launcher that's allowed to lock out of line of sight. This would further increase its use with laser painting. Please do consider this as it's a fan-favorite launcher for locking down enemy armor. I'd love to see it in an amazing state once more.2.7KViews7likes6CommentsHeli flight assist
So iv been messing around with the Helicoptor alot and I noticed you have to manually go into the settings menus to toggle On or Off flight assist?? Is there not an option to have it keybound to the Shift key? With my control setup I bind Yaw and pitch to my mouse so the Heli controlls like my character would holding his weapon. This makes it easier for me to shoot and combat in the skies. I bind roll to the A and D keys. However with flight assist toggle ON I cannot roll the helicopter and thus can't do evasive maneuvers well. With it toggle Off I can't hover the vehicle well at all to try and help take obj, but can do fast evasive movement better. I looked through the settings for a flight assist keybind and there is none. I have to choose to play with it on or off? It seems like there should be a keybind to toggle it at will while flying, am I missing something, and any recommendations from veteran pilots? I don't understand what is wrong with the AA missiles in this game, including both the AA tank and the Engineer not-Stinger missile. I lock on, the aircraft pops flares, I wait, after all the flares come out I wait another couple seconds until the flares disappear, then the lock on re-appears, I shoot and the missile starts going after the jet or aircraft then suddenly turns into the ground, and the reticule changes to miss. I know you are supposed to wait for after the flares come out, but it just doesn't work. The missile refuses to chase and makes a visible turn into the ground and crashes. Are the flares bugged and last longer than the graphical effect? This is really concerning because it makes it extremely easy to exploit by pilots and avoid missiles completely by exploiting this flawed missile behaviour. Second balancing problem I noticed while piloting is that the flares recharge REALLY fast. I have seen this from the ground too, because many times a helicopter will pop flares again as soon as I reload and acquire the second lock on with the AA missile. It is incredibly disappointing and many players are giving up on equipping this gadget entirely because it is so ineffective! Overall there are significant balancing issues with the dedicated AA options on the ground, the AA missile and AA tank are both extremely weak and likely bugged and not working as intended. Funnily enough, the TOW missile seems to be a much better option at countering aircraft because it doesn't suffer from this buggy behaviour that the lock on missiles exhibit, the IFV is better against aircraft than the Mobile AA tank! Please EA don't turn this into another BF3 or BF4 where aircraft were invincible from any threats on the ground. For comparison, in BF4 aircraft are essentially immune to lock on because not only they have ECM with uptime longer than its recharge (ECM took 7 seconds to recharge and last for 9 seconds, meaning that aircraft can have ECM more than 50% of the time on) but the lock on missiles used to be really weak, unable to even disable an aircraft IF you got lucky enough to hit one. I can already observe matches in BF6 were helicopters have been totally untouchable from the ground because the AA weapons are so ineffective, players are actually discouraged from even attempting to target the enemy aircraft. There is a serious likelihood that players will give up on AA entirely if the gameplay does not reward players who try to fight against aircraft from the ground, resulting in even greater imbalance in favour of aircraft like the one seen in BF3 and BF4.2.5KViews8likes23Comments
