Slight buff to Revenant Reborn
I believe Revenant could be in a better spot, capable to be more deadly while not being majorly meta-defining. I originally assumed Revenant's place in the Assault class didn't make much sense, that he'd get better snowball capabilities as a Skirmisher with Charged Knock's (and his old ultimate which instantly refreshed his shadow shield). However, it makes more sense to see him as a scout entry-fragger assassin who plays off of weaknesses and makes calculated decisions; that being said, it could be improved upon if his stealth portion of his kit is focused more. I suggest that he gets new upgrades, here are some ideas to implement: Silent/muffled movement After Shadow Pounce Usage During Forged Shadows Faster crouch-walk Speed boost towards highlighted enemies Highlighted enemies have reduced healing speed Faster weapon ready on climb/mantle Shadow Pounce cooldown reduce when landing near enemy Forged Shadow's enhanced climb/crouch-speed Silent/muffled Shadow Pounce Usage Fully charged Shadow Pounce grants: No landing fatigue Faster weapon ready The idea is that these upgrades/buffs (if implemented into his kit) help with stealth, punishing isolated enemies, and calculated movement.bababooeyman921 hour agoNewcomer6Views0likes0CommentsApex built a system that keeps players hooked but not valued

I'm talking strictly about the PC sever; consoles are a completely different story. What actually happens if they get rid of aim assist. Pros First off, making this change would make Apex much more competitive compared to its rivals on PC. If we look at Steam's player counts for free-to-play Battle Royales, PUBG still maintains a massive player base. On the other hand, since the devs describe Apex as a competitive shooter, Valorant it its biggest rival-and Valorant's player count simply higher than Apex's right now. I believe that removing aim assist, Apex has a high potential to absorb players from these titles. Right now, FPS community is fragmented across many different games, and minor tweaks aren't going to bring the player base back in a big way. Since the majority of the current player base uses controllers, removing aim assist would mean many of them would perform at their actual skill level. This would naturally lower the entry barrier, making it much easier for true beginners to get into the game. Removing aim assist will increase the overall difficulty of the game, which will help distribute the rank population more naturally. This could solve the "Diamond elo smurfing" i mentioned before. Ultimately, this creates a much healthier environment for beginners. Lastly, it simply makes the game more competitive. This could breathe new life into the pro scene and make it even more exciting to watch. In fact, there's player named NIRU who actually hit solo Master rank on controller with aim assist turned OFF. It would also wipe out all those third-party devices that give aim assist to mice. This would finally put an end to that king of hardware-level chaeting. Cons Some might argue that controller players will quit the game. While that might be true for consoles, I don't think it applies to PC. PC gamers don't just stop gaming overnight; they usually look for a similar game to migrate to or smurfing, but the problem is-there isn't one. If the devs themselves use controllers, they won't be able to win anymore. Plus, they probably just don't want the hassle if massive update or the headache of dealing with the inevitable crying from the controller community. If you’re going to criticize this idea, please bring a counter-proposal that has more pros than mine. I wonder if.. because of the other buffs and stuff that brought up the rest of the game to be fun again. And if you have people in the community show how to setup stuff/just make the global configuration have the settings and add it into the games tutorial if tap strafing could still exist for controller?. And I bet the player count would go up a lot and continue to grow. If yall bring it back with transparency about it. And not one sided nonsense. The player count will skyrocket. Don't treat it like a bug. Treat it like a feature and actually implement it fully. Warframe did this well with bullet jumping. This game keeps cutting itself off right before it grows. Its been better the past few seasons and its finally at a place I felt comfortable to have this conversation. Another really big example and maybe just do this one first as a test! Add back punch boosting rebalanced? Limit how many boosts you can do like you all did the zip line change ages ago where you can only grab it 3 times. I just miss titanfall but like apex for the big maps.. Right before tap strafing got removed from controller I was learning how to wall run on revenant using it. Can still do it. But it's like I got my wings cut. Can't do anything like I used too unless my aim is 100% there.. and half the time when I bring it up I get told "switch to keyboard" I just don't like it for these kind of games. Never have. EA- is gyro controls being worked on as a ln addition to apex for ps5? It works well on the switch and I’d love to see it moved to our better consoles. It would also help bridge the gap for console and PC players making that problem better. The Hemlok's burst mode should be removed. I agree with the intention of wanting to change the weapon environment while saving memory capacity, but this adjustment was not good. The Controller class, which was already in a slump with a low pick rate due to being a poor match for Ranked mode, has had its deployables neutralized even more easily by this mode. When selecting a character in ranked matches, I went to the bathroom and when I came back, the Legend I wanted to use was already taken, and a different Legend had been automatically selected. I think it probably picks the Legend I've used the most in the past, but it would be great if there was a "priority Legend" function in the settings. For example, if there's a tie, Legend A should be prioritized. Next, Legend B should be prioritized, and if that's also taken, Legend C should be prioritized. This is about limitations of controller settings(at least on Xbox). There are some actions that use the same button. Too often at times while playing Wattson there are instances where I want to res a teammate or open a door after I've put down some fences to discourage opponents pushing me and I press the X button to res but instead wattson disables the fence I just put down. The down button on the D-pad is already employed for this character action and I haven't found a way to remove the X button from this function. Next, I think Apex needs to be better at attracting new players, though that was obvious from what I could tell. I believe having so many locked characters is counter-productive to this goal. It would take about 2 months or more of casual play to be able to unlock all of them with LTs. I believe it's better if new players had more options to start with as well as an easier and shorter time to unlock all characters.
