Bot Royale on not for new players
BLUF: Please implement full ai lobbies for bot royale again. Also maybe tune the actual bots in the lobby so they're a bit more beginner friendly. So I'm away for work for an extended amount of time and wanted to try introducing my wife to playing Apex. I have a PlayStation that I bought on the road to play with her back home and figured we'd load up bot royale. With the addition of progression cheaters seem to be using this to level accounts. The cheaters are ruining the spirit of the mode. I can easily fight the cheaters (still a bit harder for new players) but I am getting lasered cross map by what seem to be the other four real squads. Alter has single-handedly changed the META of Apex, I like her current state but it has left Wraith feeling outdated, I have about 5,000 hours on Wraith since day one and what I feel could make her a crucial asset again is to: - Integrate Fast Phase back into her base kit. - Have a new Level 3 Perk Void Manipulator: Allows Wraith to close her portal Ultimate at any time similar to Lobas Black Market, and allows her team to exit her portal Ultimate at any time instead of being forced to the end of it, with a 1 second delay like when leaving Alters Tactical and as long as they have travelled at least 15 metres inside it to stop it effectively being a second tactical. I feel her portal is very restrictive, and like Revenants classic ultimate, people typically just camp the end of the portal and destroy you, or the portal ending is no longer beneficial i.e. ends outside the ring and kills you instead of helping you or where there is limited cover you may fall back into it accidentally. One of Alters voice lines belittles Wraiths lackluster portal abilities just to rub it in some more xD. - New Passive ability. Her passive is bad and if I'm honest it doesn't even work 95% of the time xD. My take on something like her Passive could become: Guidance of the Void: Ping requesting any item will give a subtle indication through a path of Void Remanence where that item is as long as it is Level 2 or lower and within 30 metres, with a 20 second cooldown. Basically a mini Loba passive, but Level 2 or lower stops her from being able to find Amps and high grade gear too easily, or the Level of loot could increase with the players Evo Level, stopping it being too powerful early game. This could alternatively be applied to enemies she injures, following them to their location, within 20m of her, for more sweaty Wraith kills =D this could be countered by or be a direct counter to Mirages invisible healing and reviving which is currently controversial.15Views0likes0CommentsDevelopers please fix!
Why would you put a 3 sec delay on some of the energy guns this makes the game play completely bad and not fun but frustrating. Secondly why disable th e chating during kill cam? Now I need to wait and see how I get shot, then respawn, then only can I type my message. Why? Just why? Then there is this irritatig keybord that pops up every time I want to write a message with no bloody option to switch it of! I'm a Japanese player with only 1600 hours of playtime and a kill/death ratio of 0.5. I hesitate to offer my opinion, but lately while ranked, I often find it uninteresting because there are enemies and allies whose skill levels are clearly too different. For example, matches where a handful of Silver players are mixed with over half the team being Platinum. Or times when I secured a champion kill with 1000 damage, while my teammates each dealt 4300 damage. The skill gap feels overwhelmingly large. I believe this is because smurfing is allowed. This makes it impossible for new players to enjoy the game. So, I've come up with two improvement suggestions. 1. Implement two-factor authentication using phone numbers or similar methods. I want a system like Overwatch's that prevents smurfing. 2. Create two or more rank tiers. I want to prevent players who reach Predator or Master rank from bullying lower-ranked players using sub-accounts. Creating ranks like Super Master or Ultimate Predator, or making the rank system more granular, would be good options. The state of Apex Legend's matchmaking system at the moment is completely unacceptable. This is mainly the cause of the squad size limitations. Only being able to play trios and duos in the game is truly frustrating. Solos would be an easy way to bring a lot of new players to the game, as many players do not have many friends to play with at all. This forces them to play fill or solo which is not much fun unless you are an above average player. Squads also would be an amazing addition to the game. I would love to play with 3 of my other friends but I cannot because of your matchmaking restrictions. Your game could get a large boost in players by just adding one more slot to the team. Another factor is your rolling map pool. You should hold community votes on maybe a weekly or few day span of maps instead of forcing people to play maps they might not like. While this may contribute to players not wanting to play as much when the maps they do not like are in rotation, it promotes community involvement and can bring the attention to your game that it needs. In conclusion; your company needs to step up it's game; literally and figuratively. I know that you are a multibillion dollar company, but I compel you to provide quality updates to your game. You could really come into a new prime if you just try to listen to your community and their suggestion and complaints. Hello. Now that I’ve finished my ranked climb for this season, I can safely say that I really like your decision regarding Dropship and Drop Zones. Personally, I love Drop Zones – they offer unique gameplay experience by spreading teams across entire map and challenging you to adapt to your POI and spawned map features. But this increased RNG also means that you need to be more experienced and flexible to stay successful. I’m solo queuing when I’m playing Ranked Leagues, and in the last two seasons I felt that many of my Gold and lower-Platinum teammates had problems with adapting to the Drop Zone we’ve got, which soured my experience and made progressing through ranks more challenging than it needs to be. Now that Drop Zones are reserved for higher skilled players, this is no longer an issue, and solo-climbing through ranks this season was much more enjoyable than the last two times. Also, getting to play Drop Zones is a much more appealing reward for earning Diamond rank than a banner frame, which is a welcome bonus. I swear it gets super annoying especially octane stim that everybody strafe spam all the time in a fight rotational assist doesn't help either it just makes your aim way much more worst. with octane is a super pain despite dealing with movement on stim it seriously makes it unfair. This does not affect players who do not aim for headshots or who rely on aim assist. The main ones are the effect that appears when you are looking directly at an enemy when using Sparrow's Tactical Tracking, the aura-like effect when using Ballistic's ultimate, and Vantage's tracking ping, which have the effect of reducing visibility and lowering shooting accuracy. Please refrain from adding effects to areas that are not hit-detected, such as around the character. Specifically, display effects only in the center of the body. In Apex, I don't like the shield you can use when you're wounded and crawling. Because of the ping and other things, a person running up close can deal damage to a ship, even though you're facing it, and it's essentially killing you through it. At one point this game was fun and really enjoyable to play, but recently it's been impossible to have fun and enjoy it. your match making sucks and it doesn't allow for casual game play. Instead I find my self wanting to uninstall the game after a few rounds. I don't have the time to sweat this game to get good, so it looks like you've lost a player. There are many times I've taken the infinite ammo amp and stocked up on nothing but health items (when I don't feel like spamming the map with grenades) but making good use of this combo has been tricky. While retreating and finding a defensive spot it works fine, you just drop what you need and your team heals. However, if in a really tight spot you end up working overtime trying to make it work. Granted, it's part of the gameplay, but for this particular amp it could be made more useful than simply being a poster child for spray-and-pray. By allowing healing items to be used on a different player it could make gameplay more synergetic and introduce a rather strong feature. The player being healed and the player doing the healing both have to stay put, like now, with the healing one using the item but the healed one allowed to watch and shoot, and use abilities that don't require movement (Bloodhound's tactical, Sparrow's tactical and ultimate, Conduit's tactical and ultimate, etc). I'm not sure how this would play out, it could potentially become rather overpowered (especially end-game) where others than Lifeline could provide such healing (except she's free to move about). It could be worth trying out, it could be fun, but it could also upset the current gameplay quite a bit. EDIT: Considering how other amps work it wouldn't be a very good change, all other amps would need to be changed in a similar manner providing both an individual and a team benefit. It was just a spotaneous idea, which with a bit of thinking isn't quite so good and rather unbalanced. Heal Overflow and Bottomless Batteries would also work really well with this system, providing a very useful team benefit, but Over Armour and Power Booster would fail here unless you could donate shield and use your tactical to reduce someone else's cooldown. Reducing tactical and ultimate by donating your own could be incredibly powerful, probably too powerful, but could work here. Over Armour would be weaker compared to the others, one bar isn't that much, but would allow players to donate shields and top up an important player. Considering controller players there might not even be enough buttons to make it work with current schemes, but it would be a rather interesting gameplay, pumping whatever tactical or ultimate you have into Loba to help the team rearm after a respawn, to get Wattson's Pylon going, Ashe's ultimate for escape, or a whole bunch of tactical's that would quite literally become even more tactical.
