Please RESPAWN Save Mirage, I got the solution
Mirage’s kit doesn’t scale with player skill — A high-level rework concept without changing his identity First, Hi everyone I’m Louis :) Now Mirage desperately needs a real high-level buff — not a new identity, just a reason for experienced players to respect his decoys I’m writing this as someone who genuinely loves Mirage and wants to keep maining him. I don’t think Mirage’s core kit is bad. The fantasy is perfect: deception, holograms, misdirection, invisibility, making enemies question what they’re seeing. The problem is that his deception stops being threatening once the enemy understands how Mirage works. And the better the lobby gets, the worse this problem becomes. Against newer or inexperienced players, Mirage can feel amazing. People shoot every decoy, panic during the ultimate, lose track of the real Mirage, and you can create some hilarious plays. But once you start fighting experienced Platinum, Diamond, Master-level players — or simply people who have played Apex for years — the experience changes completely. They know. They always know. You can send a decoy from an unexpected angle. They know it’s a decoy. You can try to move like a decoy yourself. They recognize you. You activate your ultimate while somebody is already looking at you. They track the real Mirage through the activation and immediately know which one you are. You start shooting. Now it becomes even more obvious because the real Mirage is the one actually behaving like someone fighting for his life while the holograms are just copying basic movement. The tactical is especially painful. You send one hologram. An experienced player either ignores it completely or shoots it once to confirm it’s fake. And what is the actual punishment for being fooled? Mirage gets information about where they are. That sounds useful on paper, but in a real fight Mirage often ALREADY KNOWS where that enemy is. If somebody is shooting at you from 15 meters away, knowing “the enemy is over there” is not some huge reward. There is practically no real consequence for falling for a decoy. And because there is no meaningful consequence, there is also no reason for good players to respect them. That, in my opinion, is Mirage’s biggest problem. A deception character should force the enemy to hesitate. Right now Mirage barely does that against experienced players. The solution does NOT need to be replacing his abilities or turning him into a completely different Legend. I think his current kit can work. It just needs deeper mechanics. 1. Give Mirage the ability to swap positions with his tactical decoy This is probably the biggest change I would love to see. After Mirage sends out his tactical decoy, he should be able to press the tactical button again and swap positions with that decoy. Obviously this needs limits. For example: Maximum swap range around 40–50 meters. The decoy must still be alive. Around a 10–15 second internal cooldown after swapping. Clear but brief visual/audio feedback when the swap happens. No swapping with a decoy across half the map. This would create an unbelievable amount of skill expression without changing Mirage’s identity. Imagine sending your decoy toward a rock while you fight from another angle. You get cracked. Instead of simply dying, you swap with the decoy and suddenly you’re behind the rock while another hologram continues from your original position. Or you send a decoy through a doorway. The enemy thinks: “That’s obviously a decoy. Ignore it.” Then Mirage swaps. Now ignoring a decoy has an actual risk. That is the type of mind game Mirage desperately needs. The important part is that the enemy can KNOW it is currently a decoy and still has to respect it because it could become Mirage. That changes the question from: “Is this real or fake?” to: “I think this is fake… but what happens if Mirage swaps with it?” That is real deception. 2. Being bamboozled needs an actual consequence Right now shooting a decoy is barely punished. I think successfully bamboozling somebody should cause a short holographic sensory distortion. Not a giant flashbang. Not a 3-second stun. Nothing ridiculous. Something like: Roughly 1–1.5 seconds of visual holographic distortion. Brief distorted/muffled audio. The enemy remains capable of fighting. Their exact moving position is revealed to Mirage for approximately 3–5 seconds. This would finally make people THINK before shooting every Mirage they see. You see something that might be Mirage. Do you shoot? If it is real, great. But if it is a decoy, you receive a temporary disruption and Mirage now knows exactly where you are moving. Do you ignore it? Maybe it is actually Mirage. Or maybe Mirage swaps with it. Do you wait to confirm? You just gave Mirage several hundred milliseconds of hesitation. THAT is exactly what a deception Legend should be creating. There should probably also be a short cooldown on how often one player can receive the distortion so Mirage’s ultimate doesn’t cause six overlapping effects. The point is not to stun-lock people. The point is to make being fooled actually matter. 3.Mirage’s decoys need to imitate combat much better This one feels almost necessary at this point. Mirage decoys should visually mimic more of the actions performed by the real Mirage. Things such as: ADS. Reloading. Weapon swapping. Healing animations. Crouching. Sliding. More natural movement. Firing their weapons when Mirage fires. Obviously the holographic bullets would deal zero damage. The point is visual deception. One of the biggest weaknesses of Mirage’s ultimate is that the second the real Mirage starts shooting, experienced players can often immediately identify him. Imagine instead that Mirage fires his R-301 and every hologram also visually raises its weapon and fires fake muzzle flashes/tracers. Now the enemy actually has to process the situation. A skilled player could still figure it out. Maybe they recognize where the real bullets are coming from. Maybe they understand Mirage’s positioning. Maybe they predict which copy is using cover intelligently. That is perfectly fine. Experienced players SHOULD be better at identifying Mirage. But there is an enormous difference between: “A skilled player can eventually identify Mirage” and “A skilled player instantly knows which one is Mirage, making half of his kit irrelevant.” 4.Life of the Party needs to create chaos even against veterans Mirage’s ultimate is incredibly fun conceptually, but it has one huge weakness: If somebody watches Mirage activate it, they can often track him from the beginning. That completely defeats the purpose. The decoys should have slightly more varied behavior during the first moments after activation. They could imitate firing, ADS, sliding, crouching and other actions with small timing differences instead of looking like a synchronized group of holograms. Mirage shouldn’t become impossible to identify. But the ultimate should at least reset the enemy’s certainty. When Mirage activates Life of the Party, the enemy should think: “Wait… which one?” Even if that uncertainty only lasts half a second. Because in Apex Legends, half a second can decide an entire fight. 5. His invisibility is useful, but it is not enough to carry the character The invisibility while reviving/healing is probably one of the most genuinely useful parts of Mirage’s current kit. But even this has limitations. Experienced players still hear healing. They hear movement. They understand where Mirage probably went. It is useful, and I would keep it, but it cannot compensate for the rest of his deception becoming increasingly ineffective as player knowledge improves. The biggest point I’m trying to make is this: Mirage currently scales backwards with enemy experience. Against inexperienced players, his abilities can look incredibly powerful because they make mistakes. Against experienced players, those same abilities lose enormous amounts of value because the enemy simply understands the tricks. Compare that to other Legends. Cover still provides cover against a Predator. Movement abilities still provide movement against a Predator. Smoke is still smoke against a Predator. Information abilities still provide information against a Predator. But Mirage’s primary ability is deception, and the better the enemy becomes at recognizing his patterns, the less of an ability he effectively has. That should change. A good Mirage should not require the enemy to be bad. A good Mirage should be able to outplay a good enemy. There should be a skill battle between the Mirage player creating misinformation and the enemy trying to solve it. Right now, too often, experienced players have already solved the puzzle before Mirage even presses the button. And I don’t want Mirage to become overpowered. I don’t want holograms dealing real damage. I don’t want unavoidable stuns. I don’t want Mirage suddenly becoming some teleporting assassin with no counterplay. I just want people to respect the decoy again. Give the tactical decoy the threat of a position swap. Give successful bamboozles a meaningful but short consequence. Make holograms convincingly imitate combat actions. Make the ultimate create actual uncertainty instead of becoming immediately readable. Keep the invisibility. Keep the personality. Keep Psyche Out. Keep Life of the Party. Keep Mirage being Mirage. Just give experienced Mirage players enough tools to actually deceive experienced Apex players. Because Mirage is one of the most unique and lovable characters in Apex, and it genuinely sucks loving this Legend, wanting to main him, making the smartest decoy play you can think of… …and watching another veteran player immediately look at you like: “Yeah. I know that one is you.” Please give the holographic trickster some real tricks again. Mirage shouldn’t only bamboozle beginners. He should be capable of bamboozling the best players in the game — if the Mirage player is good enough. Please Respawn, Save Mirage :(9Views0likes0CommentsRanked Throwing or disconnects
I definitely think there needs to be harsher penalties for people throwing the game to lose in ranked or just disconnecting in general in the time since this season has quite common since ranking through bronze to gold. Hey, I’ve been playing Apex since Season 1 - Season 2, and before Heirloom Shards (back in season 1-2-3) existed I got Wraith’s Kunai from a pack, back when it was the only heirloom available and players had no choice in what they received. I’ve never really played Wraith, so I find it unfair that newer players who get an heirloom can choose what they want through shards, while older players are permanently stuck with what the old system gave them. I’m not asking for a free heirloom or extra shards — I’m simply suggesting that players who received an heirloom before shards existed should get a one-time option to convert that original heirloom into shards and make the same choice players have today. Appreciate the help in voting this up to get the attention of the Devs. Thank you Attached is my acc to prove I was on back in season 2.10Views1like0CommentsVod review
Why isnt there a replay function for ranked games? I feel like as a competitive game it would add so much more depth to the game and pro circuit by having match replay functino so that you can actually hyper analyze the match. Watching a replay of the match that only has YOUR pov is kinda one dimensional because you cant free cam around what you are doing and theory craft about potential strategy or missed opportunity. And it can also generate allot more educational content from pro players or teams allowing/giving the tools they need to make good coaching content. Am i crazy or?12Views0likes0CommentsGame crashing
I play on a switch 2 and 1 out of 5 games I play the game kicks me out and I have to restart it. I find it annoying due to being dead or just left behind. Anyone else having this problem with other systems. I know switch is the ugly stepchild of apex. It should still stay on and not crash this often.SleekBeetle22 hours agoSeasoned Novice3Views0likes0CommentsOYUNUN SONU - End of the game
END OF THE GAME Hello. I’ve been playing this game on PS and Xbox since day one, and I even stream it on Twitch on a small scale. I love playing it despite all its flaws, but with the latest update, you’ve completely ruined the aim assist. It feels like I’ve lost my muscle memory; my aim won't stay locked on the target. I’m sick of getting killed by players with lower skill levels than mine. The worst part is that you don't share details about the updates or errors you introduce. It’s impossible for me to play the game like this. My entire aim sensitivity setup is ruined—I’m even crashing into walls while running. I’m forced to quit the game because of this; I just can't put up with this ordeal anymore.23Views0likes0CommentsRampart and Bloodhound (S30)
Rampart had the difficulty of requiring an aggressive playstyle despite lacking mobility, but the usability improvements in season 30 mitigated that difficulty. There are the opinion that Sheila's movement speed is too fast, I viewed mostly positively. Making characters easy to use raises the lower bound of player impact, which leads to the improvement of player retention rate. Aren't adjustments made after understanding a character's traits and inherent difficulties what Apex needs right now? Characters like Alter and Axel, who have few risks and can assume multiple roles, stagnated the game where the meta is fixed. As a result, the fixed meta increased the dropout rate of players. If multiple roles are given, a price (such as a large hitbox) is necessary, like Fuse or Pathfinder. Was the ability to become invisible for Bloodhound welcomed? To prevent the collapse of balance, the developers implemented easily discovered invisibility ability. This ability did not function, and it looks like complaints arose even from players who were initially positive about Bloodhound's rework. There are also opinions that Bloodhound's Ability Skill visual effects are hard to see. Please give the r99 more ammo
The r99 simply cannot kill a person with the standard clip, 18 bullets is terrible for a gun that shoots that fast, i was not able to get a single kill on a person later in the game with that magazine size, if the devs can buff bloodhound making him invisible they can most definitely add a few more bullets to the gun11Views0likes0CommentsPlease bring back individual season kill counters for each legend
It is such a unique metric and one that can players can grind for, please consider adding these back. Id much rather have these over holosprays. NO ONE LIKES HOLOSPRAYS I PROMISE, PLEASE STOP WASTING YOUR TIME AND RESOURCES ON HOLOSPRAYS.2Views0likes0CommentsPlease add full solo queue to bot royale
I want you to add "fill teammates" checkbox in bot royale because I feel teammates are obstacle to proceed battle pass mission. Especially, "Open newtral care package and get item" and "Survive ring contraction" missions are difficult to proceed faster in one game. It's because games usually end in round 2 or 3. It means teammates prevent me to control the game time. So, in worst case, some game ends before I get to care package. I think so is I play apex only in a day in a week. Also, I think this mode isn't always needs teammate such ranked. Actually I was hesitate to write this feedback in previous season, but in this season, bots in bot royale have not only nemesis, r301, r99, and alternator, so I wrote feedback to hope for implementing checkbox. Even if I receive any critic, I never bend this opinion!5Views0likes0CommentsPlease Bring Apex Legends Mobile Back!
Dear EA and Respawn, Please consider bringing Apex Legends Mobile back to iOS and Android. Many players still miss the game and would love to play Apex Legends on mobile again. Apex Legends Mobile had a great gameplay experience, and I believe a new version with updated graphics, better performance, and regular updates could be very successful. Please listen to the community and consider giving Apex Legends Mobile another chance. We really want Apex Mobile back! Thank you.Envyhen2 days agoRising Newcomer7Views1like0CommentsOctane REWORK: he isn’t what he’s supposed to be.
Octane Rework Concept — Let the Speedster Be the Speedster I’ve played Octane forever; he’s pretty much the only Legend I play. I’ve noticed that Apex is advancing quickly and leaning into a realm where Legends are becoming increasingly powerful, with reworks coming in left and right. That’s why it bugs me that Octane isn’t the fastest on his feet. He’s literally a speedster, yet he can be outshined by GIBBY (Axle is understandable). So, as a diehard Octane fan, I wanted to propose a rework. Please hear me out! Base Movement Speed Increase Base Speed: 299 units → 325 units Octane should feel like the fastest Legend when it comes to pure movement. Passive — Hydraulic Legs Running for a short period of time allows Octane to perform a boosted long jump by holding the jump button once the short meter is filled. Think of it somewhat like Sparrow’s double jump or Revenant’s tactical movement. This would utilize Octane’s hydraulic legs and give his movement a unique skill expression without simply making him run faster all the time. Tactical — Stim Keep: 40% speed increase Adjust: Duration: 6 sec → 9 sec Reuse time: 0.7 sec → 1.2 sec Add: +20 Overhealth instead of losing HP Begins passive healing at 5 HP/second Healing is lost when Octane is shot Continues to clear/reduce movement slows Allows Octane to use consumables while sprinting Stim Surge: Keep Stim Surge, but adjust it around the new Stim. Reapplying Stim affects/etc. would remain part of the mechanic while working with the new version of the tactical. Ultimate — SCRAP THE PADS! I think Octane’s Launch Pads have run their course. Instead, I’d completely rework his Ultimate around his character and backstory. Concept: “TURN IT UP TO THE MAX” Octane has reached the pinnacle of the entertainment industry as a stunt content creator and decides to turn it up to the max, pushing his adrenaline to its absolute limit. Octane takes 3 Surge Stims and injects the adrenaline booster into his body. At this point, he should have an extremely high tolerance for adrenaline. He looks into the screen of his cam as he boots up his livestream. The screen effect would be similar to Bloodhound’s Beast of the Hunt, grey tinted screen except opponents and their movement trails would appear lime green, with REC indicators and camera borders around the screen. As the full effect of the adrenaline injections kicks in, Octane puts on his best performance yet. Rework Stats: 55% speed boost +10–13% damage nullification (He’s not supposed to “feel” pain.) +10–15% reload/consumable use speed 30 second duration “GOING VIRAL” — Duration Extension Every shield/armor break, knock, or kill gives Octane: +2.5 million views to the viewer count = +7 seconds of Ultimate duration This would make the Ultimate progressively more rewarding as Octane performs well. Cooldown: 85 or 95 seconds I think this fits Octane incredibly well because it follows his backstory and expands on the whole idea of him being a crazy adrenaline-fueled stunt performer and content creator. He isn’t just activating an Ultimate. He’s putting on a show for his audience. You could even add background music and faint crowd cheers while the Ultimate is active to really sell the idea that Octane is performing for his livestream. Skin Concept For the skin tied to this rework, I’d definitely want: His motocross helmet Glowing green veins Preferably his original color scheme And PLEASE allow his second butterfly knife to replace the original knife on his banner pose if it’s equipped. That would be such a cool finishing touch for an Octane-focused rework. #Octane #Legendsehhquit2 days agoRising Newcomer16Views0likes0CommentsApex Legends — Breach & Hold
The Concept A tactical, round-based Attack vs. Defense mode built around Apex’s movement, Legends, and abilities. Think Rainbow Six Siege + Search & Destroy, but distinctly Apex. The mode is intentionally slower and more tactical than standard Apex. Every push matters, abilities matter, and dying has consequences. Match Structure 5v5 5 Attackers vs. 5 Defenders Best of 9 rounds First team to win 5 rounds wins Attack and Defense switch sides after Round 4 No respawning during a round Each round lasts 8 minutes Attacking Team Attackers must infiltrate the defended area and complete an objective. They can win by: Completing the objective OR Eliminating the entire defending team Attackers have a short preparation period before the round begins to choose their approach and coordinate. Defending Team Defenders have approximately 45–60 seconds to prepare. They can: Set up traps Reinforce important positions Block entrances Create defensive firing positions Control chokepoints Decide where to hold the objective Then the attackers are released. Objective Each map contains two possible objective sites. The attacking team doesn’t know which site the defenders have selected until they gather information or physically discover it. Once attackers find the objective, they can begin capturing/activating it. The activation process takes time, forcing the attacking team to control the area around it. Defender Win Conditions Defenders win if: They eliminate all attackers. The timer expires before the attackers complete the objective. Attacker Win Conditions Attackers win if: They eliminate all defenders. They successfully complete the objective. Legend Classes This is where the mode becomes different from normal Apex. 🛡️ Defense Primarily Controller Legends: Catalyst Wattson Caustic Rampart These Legends get the strongest defensive preparation tools. Their abilities aren’t stronger than normal Apex—they’re simply more valuable because controlling space is the entire point of the mode. ⚔️ Attack Primarily Assault/Skirmisher/Recon Legends: Wraith Ash Bangalore Pathfinder Horizon Bloodhound etc. Their job is to gather information, create openings, rotate around defenses, and breach the objective. Support Support Legends can be allowed on either side depending on balance. The Important Rule: NO APEING This mode should intentionally discourage mindless rushing. Players should have to: Listen for footsteps. Check corners. Watch doors. Manage abilities. Communicate. Gather information. Decide when to push. Decide when to fall back. A player who runs blindly into a defended room should probably get punished. But skilled players should still be able to outplay the defense. Tactical Economy Before each round, players receive a limited amount of Tactical Charges. These can be used to deploy certain abilities or equipment. This prevents teams from simply spamming every defensive ability across the entire map. For example: Catalyst: limited spike placements. Wattson: limited fences. Caustic: limited traps. Rampart: limited walls. This keeps the map from becoming completely covered in abilities.27650510b51c19023 days agoSeasoned Newcomer6Views0likes0CommentsCatalyst Rework — Make Her a True Controller
I think Catalyst needs some buffs to make her feel more impactful as a Controller, especially when compared with Wattson and Caustic. The goal isn’t to make her overpowered. The goal is to make enemies respect the space she controls. Tactical — Ferrofluid Spikes Catalyst’s spikes should provide stronger area denial. Increase the spike height to approximately knee level. Make pushing through them more punishing. Enemies shouldn’t be able to casually finesse their way through the spikes with movement. Keep them destroyable and avoid making them impossible to cross. If an enemy chooses to push through Catalyst’s spikes, there should be a meaningful consequence. Ultimate — Dark Veil I think Catalyst’s ultimate is already good, so I wouldn’t completely redesign it. However, enemies should face slightly stronger consequences for crossing the wall. I’ve seen very good players finesse their way through Dark Veil and come out almost unaffected. Crossing the wall should be possible, but it should come with a noticeable disadvantage. For example: Slightly stronger or longer slow when crossing. Brief visual/aim disruption after passing through. Make the player feel temporarily disadvantaged rather than allowing them to instantly come through and fight normally. I wouldn’t add direct damage to Dark Veil. Catalyst shouldn’t become another Caustic. The Goal Wattson makes you think twice about entering an area. Caustic makes you regret entering an area. Catalyst should make you feel like you’re fighting on her terms. Her abilities should give her more control over the actual flow of a fight while still allowing skilled players to counter her. Catalyst doesn’t need to become overpowered. She just needs her enemies to respect the ferrofluid. 😂27650510b51c19023 days agoSeasoned Newcomer7Views0likes0CommentsWraith Passive Rework — Danger Sense
I think Wraith needs a stronger passive that better represents her character and brings her closer to the power level of other Skirmishers like Alter and Ash. New Passive: Danger Sense Wraith should receive a directional warning whenever an enemy outside of her field of view is actively aiming at her. For example: “Someone is watching you.” The warning would indicate the general direction the threat is coming from, but would not reveal the enemy by default. I think the cooldown should be very short, around 1–2 seconds, because this is primarily information for Wraith herself. It wouldn’t damage enemies, scan an entire team, or automatically give her squad wallhacks. Legend Upgrade Options Her upgrades could make the passive significantly stronger. Upgrade Option 1 — Void Sight Enemies who trigger Danger Sense are briefly revealed to Wraith. This would reward players who choose an information-focused upgrade while still keeping the reveal limited to Wraith. Upgrade Option 2 — Deadly Focus If an enemy is aiming at Wraith through a sniper or marksman optic, they are highlighted to her. This would give Wraith a unique counter to enemies holding long-range angles on her. Why I Think This Fits Wraith Wraith’s entire character revolves around sensing danger and having a connection to the Void. Her passive should make players feel like Wraith knows she’s being hunted before the attack happens. Other Skirmishers have extremely impactful abilities and passives. Alter has powerful Void mobility, while Ash has strong tracking and aggressive information tools. Wraith’s passive currently doesn’t feel nearly as impactful by comparison. This wouldn’t make Wraith overpowered because the passive: Doesn’t reveal every enemy around her. Doesn’t give information to her entire squad. Doesn’t prevent enemies from attacking her. Only reacts to enemies looking/aiming at her from outside her vision. Still requires Wraith’s player to react correctly. Can be balanced through range, duration, and cooldown. I think Wraith should have one of the strongest individual defensive information passives in the game, because that’s what her character is supposed to be about. Let Wraith know when danger is coming. Let the player decide what to do with that information. That would make her passive feel powerful, unique, and worthy of Wraith’s character again.27650510b51c19023 days agoSeasoned Newcomer5Views0likes0CommentsPlease reconsider Bahrain/Middle East servers for Gulf players
I’m one of many players from the Gulf region, and I’m asking Respawn/EA to seriously reconsider bringing back Bahrain servers or providing a proper Middle East server option for Apex Legends. This isn’t simply about wanting lower ping. For players across the Gulf, being pushed to servers outside the region can lead to inconsistent ping, unstable routing, and an overall less reliable experience from one match to another. In a competitive game like Apex, consistency is extremely important. There’s a player base here that plays Apex regularly, queues with friends, and wants to take the game seriously. Having a dedicated regional server would make a huge difference for players across the Gulf and surrounding Middle Eastern region. We’re not asking for an advantage. We’re asking for a server location that actually makes sense for the players who live and play in this region. Please consider bringing Bahrain servers back, or providing a dedicated Middle East server option for Gulf players. There are plenty of players here who still want to play Apex and support the game. We just want a stable and reliable connection to the game we enjoy.Qee1234563 days agoRising Newcomer6Views0likes0CommentsSeason 🗑️
First of all I want to mention the maps rotations, like what are you doing??????? World's edge again?? With no loot and dark???? Wtf is wrong with you???? E district? Again?? We also need new maps. These new arsenal changes are terrible for the game, like you dummies decided to remove the arsenal when you land and you decided to try on a map with no goddamn loot!! I ain no hulk to smash people with my bare fists Also I want to mention the replicators in World Edge. We get no loot and the only thing we can do is run to revive our teammates, but guess what? We don't have replicators in the map!!! We all are forced to play these "amazing maps" because of your awful decisions Wtf you dev waste your time putting ranked trios if you don't let us play properly because your decisions are decision from an AI prompt!!!! Bloodhound rework was not a rework, so much publicity for nothing. Revenant needs his silence skill back and I guarantee many people will agree with me. Seer needs a rework, he's a reacon legend, why the hell does he needs to silence when revenant was already doing that? 🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦14Views0likes0Comments
