The EA app isn't running the game.
When I try to launch Most Wanted 2012 on Steam, the EA app gives me the error message "There was a problem on our end, please try again shortly." I tried running the applications as administrator and deleting and reinstalling the EA app. (Windows 11 25H2)27Views0likes0CommentsOld Sims 3 games
So I will just never be able to use/play MY purchased games from YEARS ago because I can't remember the login to a dead acc?? Even if I provided all owned game codes, why can't I just get the 1st letter of the email those codes were redeemed on? Like come on, we were kids then! I would love to play my games again on my new acc without having to purchase them all again. This has been an ongoing battle for folks for a while now. The problem of this topic to solve is: After exiting a game EA App always goes on screen from a minimised state in windows system tray. This problem is currently still present and so it has to be solved. More things to add: I would not even open and use the **bleep** EA App if it didn't need to start by itself after i installed a game from it which i didn't have any other option otherwise - for example GOG offers offline installers - EA please take notes. EA App is very slow to launch even on high-end overclocked systems and slows down launching games which are usually filled with more annoying screens which you have to wait for their loading only so you can skip them. What is a wanted behavior? You double click icon on your desktop The game launches(no additional spywares/crapwares/malwares like EA App starts opening together with the game) Game opens(and no additional screens intros and so on which you have to wait only so you are able to click them away opens) You are put into a simple fast and snappy menu(not a slowly laggy turning carousel menu) The target is so it takes 1 second to get to the games menu from double clicking the icon on your desktop with borderless mode possibly even less(unlike the current state of 1 minute just until i get in the Battlefield 6 menu).37Views0likes2CommentsEA Client - Location already installed game
Hi, can you please add game localization to the client after 20 years? I don't know why this feature hasn't been included for a long time, if you don't have enough money for it, or your programmers don't know how to do it, ask how to program it for example in battlenet. I dont understand what ea are trying to do with these games these days fc26 is without a doubt the worst game I've ever played you cant even chill on sqaud battles anymore because the game literally will not let you tackle the game intercepts every single pass you can hardly take players on because they know what your going to do before you even do the game won't let you win headers and if you do its never a good pass to your player unless its 4 or 5 nil then you will win them all the game purposely alters your shots for no reason you can score a great finish with power curling it in top corner but do the same shot 30seconds later and there will be no power at all and the keeper saves it from a few yards away why am I paying nearly 100 pound for a game that doesn't even work or do what I ask this is definitely the year I'm gone from this game because this is going to far its supposed to be a game not something you have to think about not playing because you already know its gunna send you crazy what's the point anymore ea dont listen to anyone never help and only blame their playersdevildave2322 days agoRising Rookie14Views0likes0CommentsNo option to invite friends and recent players
Please introduce an option to invite recently played with player and invite friends, its a bit naff. The only way to invite a friend is to invite to party....okay but if one of the party leaves a game lobby you can't invite back as they are still in the party but not the game lobby. So they need to leave party and be re-invited. My ea play pro subscription ended yesterday and I wanted to check if I can uninstall BF6 in my game library via the launcher. No, it just hides the game completely for me. Need to uninstall it manually via windows system settings. Improve this. FIXED: “Preparing Game” Loop When Launching Sims 4 (EA App / Steam) I want to share this because I spent days troubleshooting this issue and the fix turned out to be simple but completely unexpected. The Symptom Whenever I tried to launch The Sims 4 through the EA App (originally bought on Steam, later reinstalled through EA), I would get the “Preparing game…” window. It would pop up, disappear, come back, disappear again, and then nothing happened. The EA App would stay open on the library screen with no error message or crash report. What I Tried Here’s everything I did that did not work: Cleared the EA App cache multiple times Uninstalled and reinstalled both The Sims 4 and the EA App Verified game files Deleted AppData, Local, and ProgramData EA folders Renamed the Sims 4 folder and rebuilt everything Ran both EA App and Sims 4 as Administrator Updated GPU drivers and reinstalled AMD Adrenalin Installed chipset drivers, DirectX, and Visual C++ redistributables Checked EA Background Service (set to automatic) Rebuilt the missing Sims 4 registry key manually Checked CPU/GPU temps and fan profiles Disabled antivirus and OneDrive syncing Ran DISM and SFC scans Installed all Windows updates None of this worked. EA App kept flashing “Preparing game” twice and doing nothing. The Actual Cause A few days earlier, I had been using melonDS (a Nintendo DS emulator) to play Style Savvy. I manually changed my system date and time to unlock in-game items faster. I forgot to change it back afterward. The EA App uses your system clock to verify authentication certificates and game licenses. If your system date/time is incorrect (even by a single day), the token validation fails and the game silently aborts the launch process. That’s why it looks like it’s stuck on “Preparing game.” The Fix Open Windows Date & Time settings. Turn on Set time automatically and Set time zone automatically. Make sure your system clock shows the correct current time. Restart the EA App and launch The Sims 4 again. After fixing the date and time, The Sims 4 launched instantly with no issues. Summary If The Sims 4 or any EA App game is stuck in a “Preparing game” loop even after clearing cache, reinstalling, or repairing files, check your system clock first. While the nominal price is aligned with USD pricing, the relative purchasing power difference makes the cost significantly higher for SEA players. For example: Battle Pass price: ~RM47.50 (USD 9.99)Median Malaysian salary: ~RM2,500–RM3,000Cost ratio to monthly income: ~1.6%–1.9% In the US, the same price represents only ~0.27% of median monthly income This results in SEA players paying 5–7 times more relative effort than US players. I respectfully request EA to consider: ✅ Adjusted regional pricing ✅ Periodic localized discounts ✅ EA Play benefit improvements for SEA region ✅ Transparent regional pricing policy communication This would greatly improve fairness, player satisfaction, and long-term engagement in the SEA market. Hello, i purchased on preorder bf6 via ea app, on the day of the launch i tried to play the game - i spent 1hour in the main menu trying to fix something, download packs - without a success. I immidiately applied for refund and bought fully working game on steam. I went over the period for refunds by 1 day! And how could i know that game would be faulty when i bought game on preorder? From 10.10.2025 no one contacted me on the ticket i created i only saw being updated to "new" status each time. I finally contacted support via sales tab (there is no possiblity to contact via contact for refund topics). I was informed that my refund is not elligable for refund due to the fact that i missed the time to report it (again, by one day and it was due to the fact that game was bought on preorder 15 days ago). I refunded it because of your technical problems not mine, i purchased it on steam and playing without any trouble till this day. Your support is pasting copy-paste answers not giving it any thought. My case no is 224746452, and its not been changed or answered for almost 3 weeks now. Just would like to start off by saying how I much I hate this company. I have never in my life found such hatred in gaming than I have for this company. Treats customers like trash, never solves problems and creates more for a laugh. I do not know for the love of Christ why they got rid of Origin, but it was the worst decision they ever made, amongst the many other horrible decisions they tend to make every single day. The app itself is just a garbage fire of torture. It is impossible to play anything, because the app constantly likes to update, and ruin your ability at opening it at all with plenty of errors that would make even the most amateur coder cry. IPs they just let rot and fester into the ether, never doing a **bleep** thing with them, cash grabbing DLCs that are just not worth it (and that's before the tariffs, might I add), ghosting people who beg for help with constant bugs on the forums, and the obvious and shameless notion that they truly do not care about you. My PC is a powerful girl, VERY powerful. I cleaned her out recently, tried installing the app again and INSTANTLY had problems. Because you have to play games through the app, it's impossible to actually access them without your system being fried to death from the inside out, because somehow, the app it corrupting it. Nope, it's not mods. No mods installed to take the blame, the app is JUST that horrible. You can't even uninstall or reinstall it properly without issues. It's just pointless. This company is pointless. But it doesn't matter, because like always, they'll get their money. They're gonna get richer, and continue treating their customers like scum for the rest of their days. Well, I'm not a masochist. So I'm done.
