Cup Chase is sooooo bad.
So since I’m more an offline player I usually just put on some music, better music than game music for sure, and just play a bunch of games. So when they talked about cup chase I thought cool something new. New doesn’t mean better people lol. I just finished my first play through of cup chase. The coins per game was ridiculous. The pack rewards were atrocious. The ending felt anticlimactic. The inability to change the period length is dumb. I get it a lot of people want to finish games quicker so they can just rush through them. Not everyone does that. I want to enjoy each game. Not blink and it’s over. Hell my first line, which apparently forgot what a line change was, stayed out there until the 10 min mark for a lot of games. Even with constantly spamming the change line button. When it was all over and winning championship I opened my rewards. Well rewards is a stretch. Hand full of mediocre cards and UT to boot. WTH?!? UT cards a rewards? Can’t even sell the best card I got even though I don’t need it. This needs to change for sure. Then to top it off since I’m bored I start another one and I got the same exact teams again?!?! How’s that happen? Are you telling me there’s only 9 other people playing HUT that I couldn’t get different teams? Well no one wants to constantly play the same teams over and over again. Last years system worked. There was no reason to change it. You did and not for the better. That being said cup chase is horrible and a whole year of playing that? For the rewards you get? Nope.
Card value
Just curious as to why there is a major difference in card values, in regards to selling power. There are cards that have zero sale value. Like the Brent Burns card. There are others, inuding TOTY cards that have less than 200 coin sale value. My query is. What is the premise behind this discrepancy. Anyone attuned as to the reason?Ranked Thoughts and Idea
I think the Ranked System in its current state is actually pretty cool of an idea. It rewards the best of the best players and showcases who really stands out above the others. AKA, Its highly competitive which is what people really wanted when Rivals existed was a mode that was competitive when Champs wasn't active. What I will say though, is that the flaw with this system is if you are playing game after game of ranked and you are not moving anywhere or improving so my thought is this. Give people double or even triple the coins per online game played. At least this way, if you are not moving up in ranks to get packs, you are earning coins to buying packs or cards in the AH or store to improve your team.Goalie X-Factor ability "Show Stopper" seems OP
I played two opponents in a row whose goalie had this ability and it seemed to activate on a huge majority of shots. Wrist shots, snap shots, one timers, backhand-forehand/forehand-backhand and backhand tuck attempts. The description says "Utilize catlike reflexes with increase Save Accuracy and Readiness when performing reflex saves and consecutive saves" and based off of this, almost every save the goalie makes is a reflex save? It just seems weird.No thought @ all
You made one of the 3 daily objectives "complete 3 objectives". Which anyone who has already completed the few objectives there was, cannot complete. Therefore the daily pack is unattainable for anyone who seriously plays HUT. 👀😪 You got our $$ EA, could you at least make the objectives attainable and not leave us feeling even more ripped off?Captain choice
I think it's very limiting that I can't put a C on my favorite player's chest. I think there should be an option to choose your own captain who will have the same benefits as one of these 4. Not to mention that if I want his benefits to benefit the players I plan to have on the team, I have to choose one who I have disliked his entire career, so he plays in the 4th line.Deluxe without benefity?
Please tell me that those sets won't be for people who didn't pay, because otherwise it's a rip-off, a lie that we'll get some players, but what's the advantage of paying, that we got 3 very easily made sets of players and a few extra days? Am I the only one who finds this strange?
Cup Chase-Different difficulties-does it matter?
Hey. Couldn’t find this information anywhere. Does the chosen difficulty matter in terms of rewards or something else? I’ve always played in the highest difficulty SB games in previous NHL games and points earned were higher with higher difficulty. Now I started on Superstar, highest, difficulty but I am not sure if it matters. Thanks!HUT x WOC crossover
With the changes to the HUT progression system introduced last year, I think it is time we brought back some crossover play with World of Chel like we used to have in the past. In the past, we were given these HUT packs every now and again while playing EASHL. It makes even more sense now to do it so when we play WOC, we are earning slight (.5x, .33x or .25x) xp that Ranked/Rivals players earn towards completing the HUT XP path. This would not change what you earn, just how much time you have to invest in playing. It would also be a good way to give the WOC exclusive players incentive to play HUT if they were at least earning some of the xp levels and packs that the HUT players were earning through playing Ranked/Rivals. Yes I am a WOC player mainly but the same could be said in the opposite direction as well for slight WOC progress for playing HUT. My point here is allowing some crossover would help bridge the gap for WOC to play HUT or HUT to play WOC.
