Weekly limit clarification
I was on level 37 in Mayor Pass, with 227660 / 228000 weekly limit. I completed a task that added 18730 points. I'm assuming, due to the weekly limit I wasn't moved to the next level. Question: when next week's limit starts, am I going to be automatically moved to the next level (level 38)? Am I going to continue with the additional points also next week, as displayed in the updated totals? Any guidance is much appreciated.
do you play for the cap or the Simcash
this is a very valid question. let me explain what I mean. they gave each of us 2,500 tickets at the beginning of the season and made sure we all knew about the cap. at an average of 30 tickets per task you need 2,250 tickets to do 75 tasks each week. unfortunately 75 tasks may win you a prize but it will push you past the cap. if you don't buy the season pass you're only going to win a specified number of gold tickets even if you do the special event also. this will still not be enough tickets if you want to go for the prizes and ignore the cap. the first week of the season I did all my tasks and ignored the cap. I did not win a Simcash prize beyond the small but i tried. week 2, I won first place. I did every task, I did every daily, I did every milestone. but I had to ignore the cap to do it. is there a chance I'm going to win a Simcash prize this week? maybe but I doubt it. week 3, i just hit my cap. I'm in mega. I just cleared the 35th tier. I have 58 tasks left to do this week and only 1,675 tickets. using the average of 30 tickets per task that means I would need 1,740 tickets to do all of my remaining tasks. I'm currently in fifth place and there are 2 days 22 hours left in the contest. if I want a prize I have to spend the rest of my tickets to try for it. which means I won't be able to do any tasks next week other than the dailies and the milestones. I have no doubt that I will hit the 38th tier before the season is over and collect my 550 simcash from the free pass. unfortunately if I go for a prize this week I will not have any tickets left to play next season. please don't suggest I spend my sim cash to buy more tickets because I play in the contest to win the Sim cash not waste it. is EA going to give us 2,500 gold tickets for free at the beginning of every season or are they deliberately making this free to play but pay to win? what do you think?90 hours waiting for customer non-service
I lost the ability to do any bonus assignments and lost all my golden tickets.. over 1500.... Now have been waiting for more than 90 hours for customer non-service to do absolutely nothing about it.. have started playing Designer City 2 which has much better game play.. if nothing happens with customer non-service will delete the game after having played it for many years and reaching level 134..SimCity build it app not loading game
Hello, I’ve been unable to go through customer support due to the issue, I have an iPad 9th gen on version 18.5 with SimCity being fully up to date. I have tried uninstalling the app and reinstalling the app but that has not worked. On the rare occasion it does work, anytime I go into green valley it crashes. The game most of the time will simply crash after the loading bar finishes. This issue has only started happening over the last two days. If anyone has any advise on what I can do to fix this, I would appreciate it. Thank you
Capped again!
I'm capped again after completing 36 tiers/ levels on the Premium pass. There seems little point playing now until it resets on Wednesday. I've been looking at other games. Pocket City looks promising, but there doesn't appear to be a team/social option. Can anyone recommend any building games with a team aspect? After 30 years playing SimCity, the recent changes have put me off. It's not challenging or fun anymore. Just frustrating!Trade Depot - Create Sale Menu Overlaps on iPad Pro
Hi, I have an iPad Pro 11 inch M4 and I’m on iOS 18.5. When I go to the trade depot and click a box to open up storage to choose something for sale the new side menu (blue and white list of shops) overlaps half of the left column of storage. Something’s buggy?E5 SUPER SIM CARD BUYING GLITCH.
Report on the Train Festival Reward Glitch in SimCity BuildIt E5 Super Sim Card and the Special Store: A key highlight of the Train Festival event in SimCity BuildIt was the E5 Super Sim Card, a special item offering exclusive advantages. Players were supposed to receive 10 E5 cards per week during the event, with a special store added in the final (fourth) week allowing the purchase of 10 additional cards. Reward Glitch and Player Experience: During Week 2 and Week 3, a glitch caused many players, including myself, to receive incorrect rewards instead of the expected E5 Super Sim Cards. Although the event interface showed the cards as rewards, different and unrelated items were delivered instead. Despite this being a widespread issue, there was no compensation or return of the missing cards from the developers. This was especially frustrating for players who were actively participating and possibly spending resources in anticipation of collecting all available cards. Conclusion: The reward glitch, along with the absence of any resolution or acknowledgment, negatively impacted the player experience. While the event itself was well-designed, such technical issues and lack of communication from the developers undermine trust and fairness in futu re events.
SimCity buildit Bug Report
3 items for 7-8-2025: for the 3rd time now, in the daily contest task of dispatching 5 trains, the counter is not working, no matter how many trains I dispatch, it is stuck at 0/5. In the popsicle farmer event, there is a task to build 22 shovels, but the counter is not working, no matter how many shovels I build, it remains at 0/22. finally, the market is no longer useful. The low variety of items makes it nearly impossible to find anything needed.
Friend requests
Simcity Buildit- Hey EA I think it’s time to update the way friend requests work and the limit of friends. We should be able to AT LEAST add all of the people in our war club. Come on. I see years after year after year customers bring this up and ask about it. It’s 2025. We need to be able to delete requests that we’ve sent out and we need to be able to add a minimum of 20 friends. This is ridiculous. I put a lot of money into this app. Get it together
Daily $15 Simcash Reward Not Working
I tap on claim on the website for my daily reward of $15 Sim Cash. Then I open the game like it says and i get no reward. Is there some place we have to click to get it? This has been happening ever since I discovered there was a free reward. I’ve never received anything. One of my team mates said they opened the game if got it instantly.current events are long and crappy
Since the last hospital event, all of these new events have become ridiculously long and absolutely disgusting, with rewards so low as to be almost useless. Players are forced to slog through endless, boring, repetitive quests for a small reward - most of which are those nearly useless season tokens. I used to buy season passes all the time because I knew I'd always be able to complete all the quests and get tons of extra rewards. But now? It's not possible anymore. I can't get the top rewards anymore, so there's no point in buying a season pass - it's just not worth it. If you guys still want to make money, stop torturing players. This is not a competitive game. If I want to be competitive, I'll go to the mayor's race or turn on CS:GO. but if I just want to relax for a half hour every day after work and enjoy the game, I want all the events rewards. Paying for a season pass for a cup of coffee isn't even an issue. But now you expect me to put in tons of hours every day like I have a full time job just to complete all the quests? Get out, I'm not spending a single cent on these crap events.
