Adverts - a neat feature I have seen only once
At the end of the advert, there was a little button to push which said something like I am not interested and true enough I've never seen the advert again. Why can't we get this option, say for apps we already have installed or indeed dumb puzzle games etc. that I am never gonna even think about playing? It would be an absolute godsend if this was implemented. 🤔In-game customer service cannot be opened after long loading
Just loading, cannot be opened. During last week’s Mayor’s Contest, my game experienced severe lag and performance issues. As a result, several assignments that were already completed but not yet collected disappeared after restarting the game. This caused me to lose approximately 11,000 Contest Crystals. Due to this issue, my final ranking dropped from 3rd place to 4th place, which resulted in missing the following rewards: 500 SimCash 50 Golden Keys 5 Gold Speed-Up Tokens This was not caused by player error, but by game performance problems. So, like many others, my city’s services capacities greatly outnumber the demande but still, the red symbols appear as though the supply for these services is lacking. However, after even trying to demolish all roads and rebuilding them, now, it seems as though all my game is stalled! I cant do anything to upgrade my residential units, my population does not vary at all and stays at the exact same number. The only thing I can see to do and produce items in my factories and sell them through the shipyard, etc. Why is my game stalled like this? I completed the update from 2 days ago but nothing changed. Please advise when this will be fixed! Many thanks
Bridge disconnected again?
I was trying to dispatch a train on the station in the mainland of Green Valley and then I received a notice that that train station is not connected to another station (the next station is on the island). When I investigated, I saw that the bridge is disconnected. I tried connecting it again and it wouldn't connect. Help!Dumb bottleneck update
A lot of people are experiencing a “glitch” where even though power/ water and other services are above demand, houses aren’t powered. The reason for this problem is grid overloads from bottlenecking, it’s part of the new update and means that if your capacity is higher than demand, the grid will end at one spot and give more power than needed and the other houses will not have any. It’s difficult to understand, but an example of fixing it is make a 2 by 2 square of road. Make sure to isolate it from the rest of the city. Put a house lacking power in the middle, then put the power plant next to it on the same road square. Now it should be powered. This shows how the grid isn’t overloaded - spreading power stations may fix this but I’m still troubleshooting. Please remove this EA. It makes people poor not understanding the problem, and also, I haven’t seen anyone able to fix this. If you can fix, tell me how please. If not, just please remove the feature entirely. All it’s done is create problems, confuse people, and make us all broke.Feedback on Recent Lake Colour Change in SimCity BuildIt
I’d like to provide feedback on the recent lake colour change in SimCity BuildIt. After the update, the lake colour appears much darker and deeper blue. Unfortunately, it no longer matches the ponds that are part of some buildings, and some other players have also mentioned that it doesn’t match well with waterfalls, which I am planning to add to my city. At night especially, the lake looks polluted and a bit unsettling, rather than peaceful or relaxing. I am also planning to build a Venice-style city on the region map, and this colour change is quite disappointing and discourages me from moving forward with that idea. While I understand that the new colour may be intended to look more realistic, the previous brighter blue felt more lively, clean, and energetic, and suited the creative city-building style of the game much better. I kindly ask the team to consider reverting the lake colour back to the previous bright blue. Alternatively, if the team is keen to keep this new darker colour, I would like to suggest a compromise: - Keep the existing pond, lake, and large lake colours unchanged for current players who are happy with them - Introduce a new water decoration (for example, “deep water” or “sea water”) using this darker blue for players who prefer it For me, lake plays a very important role in city design. If further improvements are planned, it would be wonderful to see water enhanced through reflections of nearby buildings, subtle seasonal or weather-based colour changes, foggy mornings, birds flying over, or fish occasionally jumping on the surface, etc. These kinds of details would add realism while keeping the water visually pleasant. My capital city have power and all services, but game says no
Before Xmas my capital city after moving some Omega buildings, came with multiple alerts of no power, no water, no services for my buildings. I even bought some coins but was a waste of money. So I literally took all down. After doing this doesn’t allow me to rebuild new houses. The game is a waste of money and doesn’t work at all. I have tried to uninstall+install back in multiple different devices, with same login data, the issue persists. The attachment of my capital city named “Giocity” shows clearly no buildings and no chance to add new ones. We should be able to restore the game before the issue.
