New player with 10 years experience
Hi everybody So I am in a bit of a weird position. I have played swgoh for 10 years on and of (mostly on), but played simply as a star wars fan who thougth it was really cool to just gather all my favorite characters from the movies. I now want to take the game a little more seriously and have hit a bit of a problem. Because I have done free to play for so long I have 6.3 GP and even a master Luke Skywalker, but no clue about optimal mods, good and bad squads, datacrons and all that. Looking through beginner guides is somewhat helpful but I have found that a lot of the things they say to do simply does not apply to me because a lot of my characters are already high level. When I than look into hints for higher levels I get confused by slang and abreviations and what feels like a 1000 different things that i need to consider. So therefore I want to know if anyone has any really good tips for me or somewhere where I can read about explanations for "high level" players that does not assume i have been in the game for a long time. ps. I migth be willing to starts using a little bit of money, but in general i don't like the gambling of buying loot boxes where you migth not get anything good and because of the grind most of the beginner friendly packs give me characters I already have. If you know of good things to buy that does not cost more than like 30-50 dollars that would also be great.Leviathan always goes 2nd
In mirror matches, my Leviathan always goes second. I mean, ALWAYS. I can’t figure it out! My crew members are all R9 or R8; my mods are 6-dot across the board; my Leviathan speed is maxed at 184, just like the enemy Leviathan. Yet, the enemy always — I mean, ALWAYS — gets the first turn. I understand that the game “flips a coin” when the capital ship speeds are the same. But what are the odds of losing a coin flip 25 times in a row? Answer: They’re low. Like other days, I've had 6 interactions with the game; 5 were unpleasant and 1 was neutral. The day you stop calling generating frustration to make money "RNG," maybe people will take you seriously. Ten years and you're regressing. Thank goodness you have Star Wars behind you; this game should have shut down six or seven years ago at the most.Best JMK squad?
So I made the uneducated decision a year or 2 ago, that I would go after jmk as my first gl as a f2p with 2m gp. I now have 3m gp and almost all of the requirements done. Unfortunately only being at 3m means I haven't unlocked proving grounds, so I don't have CAT. Is there a character that I can swap for her while I work on obtaining her? If so what's the best complete squad for jmk.What to do next
So I've unlocked majority of phoneix squad, (still upgrading rex), have first order and old rebels like obi wan, leia, etc, and just unlocked commander luke skywalker. I'm currenlty trying to get gear to upgrade palpatine, vader, and grand admiral thrawn, but I don't really know which squad to chase next now. I got the bundle for kylo ren and the first order so I have that, but idrk waht to do next, could some guide me by chance about potential next decision?Anniversary Quest Problem
So like, HOW does this work, exactly? One of the newer quests is "win ten battles with any rebel admiral in your sqaud." WHO exactly, is a rebel admiral??? Because regular rebels or even rebel fighters don't count!! So WHO counts??! Anyone know WHO actually qualifies as one?? Because I sure don't!!!! Please explain who is a rebel admiral as they don't give sqaut as there is no info or tag
