@BluebellfloraI’ll try that!
Edit: I tried it just now, and it still loads kind of slow when I just add one of the files in the saves folder :/ When I go to create a sim and go to place them in a world none of the worlds show up either? So it's just that page except where the worlds usually are there's nothing but white, everything else that is usually there is still present

Do a base game repair and then force a re-download of the affected packs https://bluebellflora.com/2020/06/17/repairing-sims-4-packs-in-origin/ - @Bluebellflora Thank you, the worlds are back now 🙂 And the game is playing at normal speed! However when I tried putting my saves folder back into the game it starts lagging and taking forever to load again, so I suspect that's the problem ☹️Can I fix this while still keeping most of my old households?

Yeah, sounds like your saves ☹️ How about if you load one of them then choose Save As... to create a new save file, then load that save? @BluebellfloraI don't know how to do that, but I just want to have the sims and the builds I have made and don't care as much about the other progress... Do you think saving the households and lots to the gallery, deleting all my saves from the save folder and then downloading them from the gallery would work?
I just realised I never replied back to you the last time, I'm so sorry about that! I was sure I did, but apparently not.. However, I did as I said and saved the lots and sims I wanted to save the to gallery and then deleted my tray and saves file out of my game, and after that downloaded them again from the gallery and everything went great. However, just now the same issue with the game loading incredibly slow is coming up again... I tried making a new Sims 4 folder on my computer, however this did not work to fix the lag so I know it's not something in my saves or mods.. I tried updating and repairing it in origin, but this didn't work either. :/ Finally I tested out creating new save files for all my households, but that also didn't do anything..
You were so patient and helpful with me last time that I was hoping you would have the time to help me once again? It's been running absolutely perfectly until just half an hour ago, when it first started to lag a bit in game and then when I tried to start it up again...
Thank you so much for the help last time btw! I don't know why my reply didn't show up, but know that I'm so grateful for it 🙂 I'm hoping you could help me again with this mess haha
No worries 🙂 Could you take a screenshot of the contents of your saves folder showing the file size and post it here?
