Re: Anyone on Win7 that can confirm that their Apex still works? No longer works?

I'd assume EAC probably dropped support for Win7, causing this mess.

Or are you guys still able to play other EAC protected games?

  • Windows 7 is still a super reliable OS.

It must me a joke nowadays to support newer versions of Windows but not Windows 7.

But the biggest joke is to give the user an error message saying "Error - There is a problem with your game’s setup. Please reinstall your game"

People are like "What have I done wrong..."Am I  too stupid to make this game running?" spending hours to fix this problem...

They just force you to buy a newer OS and a newer Computer without telling you directly.

You just waste time in trying to fix the problem according to their error message.

All in all, its a freaking joke.

Just stop buying products of companies like this and they will soon find out that they made a terrible mistake.

  • @XHelperZ No other EAC games here, but I get the impression it's not EAC, since EAC always starts up fine and lingers for a while. The self-repair util in EAC reported no issues either.

Upon starting Apex, once the EAC window left, it would wait a moment then pop up the error. In Steam it actually reported error 0xc000000c.
