i never got that prompt. it said please wait and then just disappeared. i don't know if that means i do or dont have cross progression enabled.
i have no other accounts apart from my ps4 account as im not allowed to link my pc account because its linked to a different ea account.

I see.
So judging by what you're telling me, it seems that cross progression won't have any affect on you because you only have one account under your main EA Account.
If you had other accounts in your EA Profile, then it would take effect. what i don't understand is, when i try linking my pc account it says its already linked under another ea account. when i signed into said ea account it shows nothing is linked. so i'm stuck on how i can fix that so i can get my ps4 progress moved over to pc.

In this case, you may need to get in touch with EA Support and explain the situation you're in: https://help.ea.com/en/help/faq/using-ea-help/ ok thank you i'll try that
- @TheRedLion93 same thing happened to me. Didnt let me merge the accounts under the same email. Xbox and my PC account. said it wont take time but nothing happened after

Did you receive the prompt on the main menu and received the option to merge your accounts like the picture above?
Did you also unlink any platform accounts from another EA Profile and linked it to the one that is your main account? - @TheRedLion93 Hey im having a very similiar issue expecpt both my accounts are linked under the pc ea id and i got the same prompt and went continue but nothing else happened.
I don’t think so because I’ve just had the same exact thing g happen to me and I have my pc and ps4 account linked through EA.
