    It doesn't adjust height. The lowest it goes is chest level.

    Oh. I thought you wanted to zoom out. The camera does not go below chest height. Is there any particular reason why you would want that?

    @jpkarlsen, I don't know about why @lnpx wants to have the camera go below the set limit, but I want it because sometimes I want to take pictures of sitting Sims, or toddlers, children's faces, or pets (or even Sims on the floor).  My guess is that Inpx might want this for the same reasons! 😉

    I have no problem with that. If I want a close up I use my photo editing program to zoom in.

    @jpkarlsen

    Read the second paragraph of my original post.

    As I said, others can zoom in on children, toddlers, pets and adult sims that are sitting at a table, swimming etc. I see it in their videos.

    I'm wondering wny this is a guess. I state the reason in my OP.

    I'm not trying to be rude, but this conversation seems to have ignored what I posted.

    The camera does not go below chest height of a standing adult sim. So when they're sitting, the camera height is above head level. You can't see a child or toddler's face. You can't look at your pets.

    Are you saying this is the default behaviour?

    Yes, that is default behavior. I don't quite understand that you say you can't  see their faces. Are you saying you can't get pictures like this?

  • @lnpx, you only stated that you wanted the camera to go below the height of a standing adult Sim's chest, and not why you wanted the camera to go below the height of a standing adult Sim's chest -- which is what @jpkarlsen was asking. 😉  I was trying to answer why some people (including myself) want the camera height to go lower than it is allowed, since jpkarlsen was asking you why you would want it to do so. You might have a different reason for wanting this, but you did not give a reason in your OP.  I thought by giving an example of why this might be important, he would be better able to answer your original question!  😇  I wasn't trying to ignore your original question, but I can't answer it since I also want to know if the camera can be lowered at all!. 😳  Sorry about that!

    @jpkarlsen, I would like to take pictures of toddlers, pets or adults sitting or on the floor more zoomed in than the pictures you showed. The current camera in the game does not seem to allow this.   I do not have any photo editing software (that I know of) on my computer unless it came with it. 😃

    You will have at least Paint maybe also Paint 3D. Otherwise there are several free on the Internet. Google "Photo editing software free". For a quick touch up I use Paint.net.
