@bev6usaaccording to wiki and other sources.. no.
If they have.. nobody knows yet?
They remain
The Goth Family is a well-known family in The Sims series, consisting of:
Mortimer Goth
Bella Goth
Cassandra Goth
Alexander Goth
For me.
EDIT: Okay.. I had to look in. Created a new test file and nope.. they are the same as usual. Still.. the Goths. 😉- bev6usa2 years agoNew Hotshot
On my game Bella is not there and there is a new child and 2 dogs.
- @bev6usa Autonomous death and reproduction and kids bringing animals home?
Mortimer divorced and had another child with someone else?
no, I seriously have no idea unless they just got really weird for some reason for you... - @bev6usa Is this in a brand new save, or after playing for some time? If you’ve been playing with neighborhood stories on, that allows for accidental deaths and pet/child adoption.

@bev6usa I think what @PipMenace mentioned is most likely what is going on in your game, unless this is a brand new save that you haven't played in at all yet.
(In your post you mentioned that you "had to start a new game" , but I took this to mean that you had to start a new game because your old game only had Bella , a new child that is not Cassandra nor Alexander, and some new pets for the Goth household. But I could have misinterpreted you , and perhaps you meant that you started a new game and in that new save file Mortimer, Cassandra, and Alexander were missing, and in their place were some new pets , and a new child alongside Bella. I just want to have a clear understanding of what is happening in your game 😊) - bev6usa2 years agoNew Hotshot
I had to start over after playing for a while. My game messed up. Don't really remember what happened. I had to start my game over from scratch and this was the first time I played the Goth family on the new game. I'm probably going to just start over again.

@bev6usa, thanks for replying!😊 Hopefully the problem was just in that particular save! 🤞
When you started your new save, did you play any other households before playing the Goths? 🤔
Please update us on what happens! 😇 - bev6usa2 years agoNew Hotshot
I ended up deleting everything and starting over. It's back the way it's supposed to be now. I had played another family before them in my previous game. Don't know if that had anything to do with it or not.
Thank you for trying to help.
- @bev6usa If you don’t want the premade families to change while you’re not playing them, be sure to turn neighborhood stories off.

@bev6usa , I'm glad you got them back to normal, even if you had to delete your old save game file. While it could have been corrupted, I think the much more likely cause was that you had played another family in the same save file before switching to the Goth household long enough for the Goths to have progressed in their lives. To prevent that , the easiest way is to do what @PipMenace suggested and turn off Neighborhood Stories!😊 This will keep all the other households from making drastic changes like what happened in your game! 😅
If for some reason you want to keep Neighborhood Stories on, you can always just make a new additional save game file for any of the other families you want to control . This is what I do when I want to have control over a certain family, so I have a ton of save files. (But I play on a PC, and I think if you play on a console you can only have a few save files, so you will have to be more choosy in what families you want to dedicate a save file to). 😉
