Solved

Dineout not working it keeps saying I don't need any requirements

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? The newest one
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Dineout
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I don't know
What happens when the bug occurs? It won't let me manage my restaurant
What do you expect to see? Idk
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

Whenever I play my game and buy a restaurant it just has a bunch of w's where it's supposed to let me manage my restaurant and I think this might be because it keeps saying I don't need any requirements for my restaurant even though I do,so when I play a sink or something the text turns red as if I'm doing something wrong. Also I just got this pack.

It works now! I just put my The Sims 4 document file into desktop and it made a new one and now the text is showing up correctly

  • @DreamyfFluff12 Time to update your mods! From the master post:

"Main Menu and the Gallery showing “wwwwwwwwww” instead of text – causes include outdated Color Sliders (thepancake1 and MizoreYukii), 15 Clubs Per Sim (King Zace), UI Cheats Extension (weerbesu), Better BuildBuy (TwistedMexi), More Columns in CAS (weerbesu), CC wrench icon mods"

@DreamyfFluff12 Have you also deleted the file called localthumbcache before testing with no mods or CC, and you're still getting those wwwwwwww's and that message? Because both are known mod behaviours.

@DreamyfFluff12 Awesome! When you copy files into the new folders, test now and then. Start with Tray and Screenshots and Videos, as those are unlikely to cause issues. Then do save files and test them. Last do batches of mods, so you can find when an issue turns up.
