This gun is stronger than the Mastiff, and the Mastiff is a gold weapon - Developers, how to you rationalize that?Here's a few videos of me in the firing range doing one shot with the PK then Mastiff, and mastiff deals LESS damage. Plus, PK reloads WAY faster, has 6 shots before reloading, and AMMO PICKUPS. I recently stopped using the Mastiff and instead using the PK despite hating it.You can see in the videos how unbalanced the PK is. I honestly can't wait to hear all the people say the PK is perfect where it is cause if so the Mastiff needs a HUGE buff. But honestly, a random pickup weapon shouldn't have the capacity of doing +100 dams in one shot on the body.

@Robo_The_Man-Bot I agree PK has no counter now that r-99 got nerfed, 6 shots is too much for that kind of damage, ill be happy if they reduce to 2 the amount of shots per magazine, because there's no risk using Pk, you can miss 4- shots and still can kill someone with purple, its all the power of a double barrel shotgun but with 6 shots.

@EA_David you did nothing to PK, you try to balance PK like if was a very sensitive weapon, but you drop the nerf hammer so hard on weapons like r-301, r-99 and wingman, stop the weapon favoritism, and nerf PK properly, drop the insane damage to the body, 110 to a body shot is wrong, bullet dispersion is almost non existant, .1 nerf was a joke, no damage drop at distance is wrong, 5 bullets for a weapon with that damage is wrong. I land a sentinel headshot to a guy with gold helmet and land a 105 damage, he land me a bodyshot with PK and make 110 damage, (he erased my purple and some life) that's an example of how broken that weapon is

@SolitaryMassacre Yep, one hundred damage for a body shot is just ludicrous! I don't understand how Respawn has let this stay in the game for this long! Seriously, it's almost impossible to lose a gunfight at close range with the PK!

@EA_David The balance for the new nerfs are great. just needs the headshot multiplier of 1x on the pk at 38+ meters to put it in line with the rest of the shotguns.

A single clip should not be able to wipe an entire team. Just saying 🙂

@Robo_The_Man-Bot I think they should swap the magazine sizes for the Mozambique and PK tbh. Makes a lot more sense balance wise. Especially considering how many pellets in a PK shot VS Bique shot.

@SolitaryMassacre I wasn't in favor of nerfing anything but I love this suggestion. Spreading the hip-fire turns it into an ADS high damage shotgun with low rate of fire while the EVA-8 remains a low damage but easy to use hip-fire gun. I wouldn't lower the damage at all since the PK isn't good enough for endgame (despite the arena shrinking) but make sure it has a sharp damage drop off beyond a certain range without the choke.
As for comments about running into a PK user around a corner... bad luck? The PK user likely heard you and crept into the best position possible to use his gun so that fight should've been fairly one sided. Its a cheap way to fight but nobody fights fair in this game.
A shot gun should be the most devastating weapon at close range so any suggestion that might make things more "even" with any other gun seems like nonsense to me. Of course the PK should have easily exploitable weaknesses as a draw back to its close range power.

So sick of getting hit for 90+ every damn shot. The PK doesnt need bolts and doesnt need 6 bullets in the mag and doesnt need such a common drop rate

@Benchwarmerbrew Yeah, PK is the most broken thing i ever seen on any fps, but Respawn don't care, they keep nerfing r-99 and wingman so hard but they dont want to touch PK, probably the devs love the weapon because make noobs kill like pros.

@heme725PK is the king of endgame, on pc of course, another thing that devs should start doing is balancing weapons separately on console and PC, PK on Pc has no counter, is the best gun at any moment, in console r-99 and aimassist is pretty OP so they can kill someone with pk very easy, but on console that is not the case, Pk on Pc should have 2-3 Shot per magazine.

@audiofilomx I use a controller on PC, and I don't think the R99 and aim assist is helpful lol. Tbh, aim assist is kind of annoying, I like fine movement and control on my guns WITH a joystick xD

@audiofilomx Balancing weapons for different platforms may carry more hassle than benefit. Like the Wingman the PK is strong but not a top gun on consoles so I don't think the community will mind much if its nerfed. Its insane for early game and good mid-game but weapons like the R-99, R301 and Prowler likely dominate the final round for consoles.
Obviously I can't speak for the whole PS4 community and I still disagree about the PK.
P.S. I'm not sure what you were implying with aim assist but it is a little annoying hearing people overrate its effectiveness.

@heme725 I played on both PC(m&k) and Xbox sometimes with my friends that not own a Pc, and only playing like that you can feel the aim assist power, but that's why we need a different approach for Pc and Console, Pk is the best gun at any point in the game, on endgame is just the king, is the most used weapon on PC, i know that console is different, even anvil receiver is used more often on console, on pc nobody use that ❤️❤️❤️❤️, prowler is good on pc but r-99, PK and wingman are the kings, and i saw a lot of people using prowler or hemlock on console, on Pc master lobbies nobody use anything else, Pk+r99 and wingman+Pk are the only combos used, Pk needs a nerf but a stronger one on PC than console

@audiofilomx I play both PC and PS4, I do not feel any aim assist power.. Especially since people can use scripts to remove like 90% of their recoil (Just google AHK Apex). Console to me feels easier because there are less people cheating. Sometimes I get downed from like forever meters aways by simple things like R99 and Wingmans (should have damage fall off) on PC but NEVER on PS4, so there isn't really any aim assist power. I really don't think you can use your own experiences as heuristics to say "<insert weapon here> is used more on <insert platform here>" Its just too arbitrary.
