8 APEX LEGENDS TIPS TO MASTER THE ARENA
1. WORK AS A TEAM This may seem a given in a team-based game, but after playing for years now, I know what it’s like to have a teammate go off on their own as if they never even realized they had ot...
- 5 years ago@HeyNameDoesntFi I tend to go with the ReRe (RE-45) in the first round. I used the Zapper (Volt) for the first couple days, but eventually shifted to the ReRe, and it has been working very well for me. I'll generally run a Tree (301) for the rest of the game, unless I'm working on challenges for a specific weapon type, or if they enemy team spams the Spitty.
I agree on communication, for games in general and BR, but definitely for arena. When I run arena with my two close friends, we normally win, because we are in constant communication. When I run with randies, not so much. I feel like a lot of the community is too young to have played old school Halo, and they don't show enough respect to team-shotting or communication in general (I use this example, as it is where I learned the concept). Most randoms I get, don't even utilize the built in ping system!
You may be on to something with the Bocek. While I rarely use it, I have definitely noticed that when the enemy team has at least one, and they know how to use it, they can be very disruptive when we are engaged with the rest of their team. That thing eats
I feel like communication is the most important ingredient. I know for a fact, that me and my two close friends are simply average players, but we can easily take out better teams, merely by communicating properly. Calling out enemy locations/movements, shield type/status, and even weapons is extremely useful!!
As far as spending materials, I generally only buy/upgrade one gun per round, and run the Mozy for backup. I like to grab a batt or two and some arc stars, but that's about all I spend my materials on. I main Pathy, even in arena (I just love him, leave me be), so I never feel the need to spend materials on grapples. Me and my two friends primarily stick to gunplay in arena, and it works really well for us.
