@DarthValtrex On the contrary, they HAD braincells, they just didn't have the aim to back it up. Not having good aim is a passable offense, not everyone has the time to improve, but I at the very least need people to follow me into fights if for nothing more than soaking up damage. It's a team game (lol) after all. But today, I could barely find anyone who could either keep up or follow up when I engaged fights and it was just a miserable slog.
@hayhor I know! I feel stupid. I already uninstalled, but I was trying so desperately to get a satisfying match, not even a win, just a satisfying match. 3 games today, I was so close to a satisfying match, but audio lost me one of those games, my teammates getting overly confident despite not doing anything (they were getting carried which made them confident and forgot that stupid decisions throw games) lost me another, and the last one I wasn't going to win, but 2 no regs on a downed target prevented me from securing my last kill before I died and it's just so disheartening. I was kill leader and everything! 9 kills (would've been 10) multiple clutch 1v2 / 1v3 fights, 2 situations where 3+ squads are all shooting at each other and my squad comes out on top, and THAT'S how my game ends. It was hectic, it was exciting, it was going to be the best match of my entire 12 hour stint without even being a win and then BAM! No regs. What a joke.
I was already not in a gaming mood but my gosh my ‘skill’ was lacking severely (because of it), but also because of the randomness that ensued...
Mastiff from 3m on a basically motionless Wraith doing 16 dmg at chest, finding no weapons multiple times on drop... Lag Spikes... Bullets missing...
Then you switch over to firing range and suddenly (because it’s still online but faster connection) everything you mean to hit either hits or you see that you were off... Mastiff hits stuff from over 20m 16-40 dmg >.> (I’m talking ppl, not the dummies) and everything is smooth as a baby’s bottom...
Yea... thats why I ‘hardly’ played this season in comparison to previous ones. Well 5 was also a massive dip.
If @hayhor likes my skill, when you get back (wait... weren’t you pc?!), cause you know you will be XD, we can squad up and I can definitely keep up. You might have to keep up with my rambo actions xD.

@hayhor yeah PC. I'm not likely to pick this up again, usually it's 3 breaks and I'm gone for good. Unless they put in solos. Have fun in S7!
@Koochi-Q I know, I know. I just wanted to try and have fun with Apex again. Apex had other plans for me.
@DarthValtrex I do slow down, but I can really only slow down so much then I just give up. On PC when people are slow to loot their areas / boxes and slow to rotate or take notice of their surroundings, it's a dead giveaway that they're going to get wiped, especially against the high skill players that I routinely played against. Not a single match today didn't have either a Master / Predator / Diamond player / trail. I've only met one person who was "good" at shooting and terrible at looting, and I ended dying and spectating. Dude was cheating, so I promptly quit.
I wouldn't hold slow looting against console players though, nothing you can do there, the interface is terrible. But on MnK where you can click really rapidly and how quickly you loot depends on how fast you can read, a slow reader is someone who's slow to react / respond, and someone who's slow to react / respond doesn't do well once surprised, and doesn't shoot well overall.
