Hop-ups rework & discussion
Recently I've been thinking a lot about the hop-ups in the game and I don't know if it's just because I don't use any this season, but I feel like the system could use a change. I think things really started getting weird after they made Choke a constant feature of PK and TT. I don't think it's broken or anything, but why do they just got a straight upgrade?
As far as this season's selection of hop-ups goes, Turbocharger is the only one I ever get use out of. I don't really utilize Anvil, and none of the shotguns have hop-ups. Since the Bocek needs 2 hop-ups there just isn't much room for others.
I had a few ideas for reworking the hop-ups in the game. First and foremost I think that we can boot quickdraw right? All of the buffs that it adds are just stats that can be worked into all pistols. Shouldn't all pistols have faster draw time and ADS speed? And weapon accuracy is something that regularly gets balanced, so this hop up seems kind of redundant. The other thought that I had was adding all hop-ups into the permanent crafting system. Replicators would then serve as a place to upgrade your weapons and maybe replicator drops would be worth something. Finally, if Turbocharger is here to stay with the Havoc, maybe move Selectfire to L-Star? I might just be bad, but using purple sights with this thing is a nightmare. I imagine the single fire shots being pretty similar to the Havoc, except it would overheat after 3 or 4 shots. Also I just think it would be dope to fire some red plasma beams at folks.
