My list of truths before Season 8 - (Tell me I'm wrong)

EA is the bane of the gaming world. Right up there with Daybreak and WB games. But Respawn, you've made your game f*****g unplayable (unless you're a skin spending whale)

OK I've been playing since the beginning in Feb 2019 and I've got more than enough experiences to come to the conclusion that Respawn has already cashed in and really don't give a toss about their game or the players anymore

Back in season 4 I got in an argument with a Respawn dev who wanted to address my "unsubstantiated claims" about the state of their game. He kept doubling down on how they've fixed things for players, such as unfair penalties to players who DC'd, or were forced to play through ranked even when their full squad didn't correctly fully generate, only to provide him and his codpiece hugging fanboys video evidence of how full of dren he was and how delusional he was for thinking people weren't paying attention.

It doesn't stop there. The long laundry list of issues that some would consider nitpicking, but unless it's happening to you, It's just not a priority.

I can land on top of a weapon before someone and spam the pickup button for seconds, they land on top of me, pick up the weapon and dust me.

I can shoot someone in the face and it still takes 2 seconds to break their armor yet I get killed in 0.5 sec in 9 shots while wearing full purple

Getting shot through closed doors, shot through cover, all with video proof or even worse, windows. If I try to throw a grenade, a tactical or an ult though a window or shoot through a fence or stairs, it hits invisible walls. And apparantly Respawn thinks i'm like some kinda coprophagial maniac because I can get destroyed through these same stairs windows and fences I take cover behind

I USED to main Caustic so his traps need more than just a buff. They need to f*****g WORK. I can throw a trap on top of somebody well within range and it wont activate. But if i even look at one funny from 10 ft away, you guessed it, it touches off and I don't care if they "fixed" the gas so you can see though it. They lied.

They can destroy any viabilty for Caustic, Wraith, but buff the be-JAYZIS outta Gibby

The physics in the firing range are nothing like the live arenas, and the devs keep changing things after players get used to certain physics.

The obvious blatant loot bias. I've noticed I've only paid 10 bucks in my now going on 3 years of playing apex. and im lucky if i get a p2020 or a vanilla armor. But I also notice the people with the 4k damage/20 kills in their wake/triple triple badges all have the nicest collection of seasonal skins, which obviously cost money and I see them land on the best armor and havoc/spitfire level weaponry right out the rip. Random loot my ASSETS.

Getting material starved is another issue. No guns anywhere. Then if you get a gun its a mozamBLEAK. Then you find no armor. If you do, it's vanilla. Then there's no ammo. Then if there is, theres no heals. Then if you're fortunate to find some, here comes the blessed player in all their lvl 4/5 evo glory ready to waste you in less than a second with his turbochargd energy weapon along with his 5 friends that just so happen to not shoot each other while jumping over each other just to get at you and your squad (If they even generate in a solo queue). Oh yeah, squad teaming or 3rd parties, you be the judge.

Now the final straw is me at the end of a match as kill leader and I get DC'd and bounced to the lobby just before spraying down the last guy with an r99 after braking his shield with a Hemlock. I have been getting DC'd like this consistently for the last 2 weeks.

The pisser of this all? This is only inflicted on my main account. I am the nail that sticks out and I continually get hammered by cowardly developers in the only way they can. I can sign into a secondary account and everything is as smooth and predictably adequate as can be expected. The bias and inconsistency is unbelievable until you see it and even then it isn't enough. You gotta experience it. 

But the worst is this. I had a video of a player who used a Wraith exploit glitch where they were able to spam voidwalk over and over to the point they wouldn't take any damage, not even from the ring

Multiple reports apparently went nowhere, and only after premiere gaming streamers saw the video and called out Respawn months later, did the player get banned, only to change his name after half a year and send me harassing messages. That player is still on to this day while to me it is clear Respawn wants nothing to do with people who won't tow their line, pay money and dance along as if everything is right in their little world.

I remember when I played Apex because it was fun. Now it's become a soul crushing, demoralizing process that gives you just enough to keep coming back in the hopes of getting some sense of progress and when you do it hits you just like a drug, short lived and numbing to the crummy environment around you.

Prepare yourselves for the one most prevalent pattern of incremental acclimation Respawn consistently engages in. They "fix" their prepared list of previous issues just before the rollout of a new season just to get players new or spurned to come in and hopefully spend their duckets, only to trash what they present weeks into the new implemented updates. I'm going on 3 years of playing Apex since day 1 and if Respawn continues to treat a game that had great potential with a used car salesman mentality, it may be time to walk away and say thanx for the memories.
