Respawn is hardware banning cheaters

I just saw this article;

https://www.tweaktown.com/news/65504/respawn-hardware-banning-apex-legends-cheaters/index.html

Respawn & EA should both get involved and bring Lawsuits against these Developers of cheating, afterall this does impact your profit!

There's more to loose here then just angry gamers that won't play anymore, but money from your pockets!

I read the developers of Fortnite have been suing cheating developers!

These are people who are literally helping to destroy business in the gaming world and it's time to have laws to protect gaming developers and these people should face the law and be punshied, then we should hopefully see a drop in this insanity!

These cheating developers are charging money for their cheats, making money themsevles and taking it away from you!

If it's not already, hopefully one day this will be a "Criminal Offense" punishable in courts around the world!

  • Thank you for sharing this.

    It's about time they get serious about it and issuing some, if they're certain a player is cheating. I'm sure they're very aware of the rough statistics of players that have already left due to this. It's affecting player morale, but don't get me wrong; I'm very excited to join back when there's an official announcement on this.

    That's effecting the game's lost potential and future potential if it wants to be considered a serious fps with other modes like ranked, tournaments, etc.

  • Hardware ID bans do nothing, people spoof them all the time. They need to sue the developers and people who're selling them. You'll never get rid of cheaters but if you force it underground it will be a lot less and easier to manage.
  • No they don't! Come on? People still believe in this? It's just a rumor, there is no official statement about this. The report system is not even working(proven in reddit) and the number of cheaters says it all(especially in Asia servers)

  • Could you provide us with the link that says that the report system isn't working. Or are you only here to spread rumours?
  • As I mentioned, at some point in time this should become a criminal offense, because of how it does effect a business, it is literally stealing from a business.

    A company like EA should have the resources to take something like this to court to make an example out of this situation!
