I've experienced many time recently that squads that are supposed to have 3 players are not full at the very moment of selecting a character.
Same problem now with Winter Express mode...
It's very disappointing to even begin the game with one person less. I usually just leave and guess that ruins the game for other players, too. Especially it's frustrating in Winter Express mode, cause you know..there are only 9 players there

Being matched with only one additional squad mate is so constant like the setting sun. It's ridiculous.
Setecting different datacenter does not matter. It happens on all of them that I have tested (America, Europe). So it's not an issue with the connection nor the area. It's the matchmaking.
And on the top of it the champions squad are usually high-tier pre-made squad. It looks like the lobby is purposefully being gathered just for them to win.
I am playing solo-queue. Currently on PC/Steam but it happens on PC/Origin also.
It's them same. Every few games like in the clock.
