@EA_Aljo I"m going to side with this guy on this one. Why should a player who is suffering disconnects be accountable for game point losses that cannot be accounted for either way. It's clear over the frustration that straight up game abandonment is NOT the issue. No one is going to take time to come to a forum to gripe about something they intentionally caused. So how about some feedback and process about why players are panelized for disconnects when it is out of their control? Instead of avoiding the OP's main topic point.
Community ManagerWe don't know the intent when you disconnect. It could also be someone pulling the plug on their connection.
It actually does reconnect to the game sometimes......sometimes being not often at all...has happened 2 or three times during my whole time playing including before I quit....but by then I've died to the storm or a team and I'm just looking at my team mates...at-least I don't receive abandoning points.
However....this guy is saying "we don't know whether it's a disconnect or someone pulling the plug".....erm so someone who is positive points would rather have 0 points or minus 72 points....yes!!! because that makes complete sense. why would anyone with positive points want to pull the plug???? please answer this question....your abandons game BS removes all kills and assists??? why is that even implemented.
Been suffering from this crap all weekend with ranked Arenas it's real PITA been busted all the way down from Silver " I think" to the point that I am afraid to even play Arenas and my connection has consistency issues but I don't think this is totally my fault. it is really annoying......
Community ManagerThat's the nature of the internet. No service guarantees 100% uptime. I'm not talking about disconnecting only from our games, but from the internet in general. If there's a constant problem, going through troubleshooting may show us what's going on.
@EA_AljoIt's the useless, worth less than nothing reconnecting system fault, not people internet condition. Is EA blind or what? There are thousand of people complaining about this issue, but no - we are too selfish to look at people who doesn't live in big towns.
@EA_AljoI don't understand why you still haven't answered the question why you receive no points for when you are positive. Stop talking abut connection problems...really annoying you haven't addressed this problem.
Again I will say....Why would anyone rage quit/pull the plug etc if they have positive points. answer.....they wouldn't. Yet for some reason your system in place decides to not only hit the player with an extra abandoned fee (equaling the entry cost) but also removing all current kills/assists and placement. This is absurd...and extremely annoying for players who disconnect from games.....caused by your servers.
Now I've switched to playing on London servers and behold I've had a lot less problems then playing on Tokyo servers...and when I do have code:net disconnects...amazingly I actually get back into the game...( I do have video evidence of this) however code: shoe and code:cloud I do not...which are server issues....but lets not talk about connection problems...WHY ARE PLAYERS HAVING POINTS REMOVED WHEN THEY ARE POSITIVE.....seriously....at-least hit them with the abandoned game penalty but not remove the positive points...seriously annoying...how am I plus 100 points and then dc...to have -72...at-least just take away the 36 so I still have +64.
Again numerous games now where I've been put into the game by myself with just another team member...3 games in a row one time...and you want to say its the players connection problems??? joke...seriously just a joke....no other games have server problems like yours and now players are being penalized for it unfairly...joke.....I dont come onto forums to complain ever but this has really annoyed me to the point that I feel the need to.
Please do not answer this with only talking about connection issues...actually address the main issue here please...thank you
PS: why am I so salty?? because I'm currently sitting at PLAT 1 after losing 2000+ RP points from penalties not including losing my positive points in which we're probably talking 3000+ I've literally gotten from plat-diamond twice and then some already....just a joke!
