Abandoned penalty for being kicked out of games. why??

Okay, i've just come back to this game after a year off and I'm loving the game again. However, the abandoned game penalty is beginning to really annoy me when its your servers problems that are kick...

These can also be caused by issues outside of our network. If you want to go through some troubleshooting, let me know so that we can rule out any issues on your end.

@EA_Aljo okay, I literally have no words for this....I just had a power cut so yeah I disconnected and its obviously a fault on my end. hmm....game update...okay....waiting....back on. What?? +8 points no abandoned game penalty? really? so the one time it's my fault that the internet gets disconnected I don't lose points?? okay...literally BS right here.
