apex freeze

Hello,

Could you provide some information so i can see whats going on?

Sorry, this is all I can find, over half of these are apex just freeze up and stop responding, the only way for me to close it out is to create a new desktop and then I can open task manager to end task.

Hmm alright,

Lets do a checkup.

Scan for viruses using the full scan method and let me know if it finds anything.

Then do a scan using this: https://www.malwarebytes.com/antirootkit/

The Malwarebytes scan says no malware found. 

Alright now try this:

1. Open an elevated command prompt. To do this, right click the Windows button, and then select Command Prompt (Admin). If you are prompted for an administrator password or for a confirmation, type the password, or click Allow or Yes.
2. Type the following command, and then press Enter.

DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth

Note It might take several minutes for the command operation to be completed.

1. Type the following command and press Enter.

sfc /scannow

Note It might take several minutes for the command operation to be completed.

1. Close the command prompt, and restart the PC.

Run the games to test.

The game is still freezing up. 😢

Ive checked some of your event Errors online and it maybe power related.

So let try a few things out:

Press the Win key and type power plan, then click Change advanced power settings.

Now in the PCI Express section expand the little + box icon and do the same with Link State Power Management.

Click and set the setting to off.

Click apply and close the windows.

Are you running OC software like MSI afterburner or EVGA Percision ?

Can you turn off your PC, unplug it, open the case and check you have connected all the power connectors to your GPU?

A power connector needs to be pushed correctly or it may not give the right amount of Power your  GPU needs.

If your unsure send pictures of the inside of your case.

What is the exact model of your PSU and GPU?

(i know you said its EVGA but they have varing models with OC OCX etc.)
